SUSHI Usage Reports
This document will guide you through a brief overview of SUSHI. It will also show you how to connect to SUSHI reports for Gale, A Cengage Learning Company.
What is SUSHI?
The Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative (SUSHI) Protocol standard defines an automated request and response model for the harvesting of electronic resource usage data utilizing a Web services framework. It is intended to replace the time-consuming user-mediated collection of usage data reports
COUNTER 4 SUSHI
Gale SUSHI Web Service -http://usagereports.galegroup.com/sushi/
You will need the information below to connect through your SUSHI client:
- Destination (URL) = http://usagereports.galegroup.com/sushi/ws
- Requestor ID (Userid) = Your library's Gale Admin login ID
- Customer Reference Name (Password) = Your library's Gale Admin Password
- Customer Reference ID (Where Id) = Your library's location ID ex loc=locationID, lib=libraryid
COUNTER 5 SUSHI
Gale SUSHI Web Service - https://sushi5.galegroup.com/sushirequestor/requestreport.jsp
You will need the information below to connect through your SUSHI client:
- Destination (URL) = https://sushi5.galegroup.com/sushi/
- Requestor ID = Your library's Gale Admin login ID
- Customer ID = Your library's location ID ex. loc|locationID, lib|libraryid
