Duration: 30 Minutes
[00:00:03.000]
Good morning, everyone. Thanks for joining me. I'm Stacey Knibloe, your Gale Trainer for Vermont and thrilled to be able to kick off our empowering your library unleashing the potential.
[00:00:13.000]
Of the Gale Online Learning Portal. We are happy to share this new tool with our Vermont Public Libraries and we have A pretty straightforward agenda.
[00:00:28.000]
We want to talk about what the online learning portal is and then how you can find your libraries access point or really find your access so then you can create your own access point.
[00:00:38.000]
And as always, we'll take questions along the way, but also wrap up with support so you know where to go after today when you've got questions.
[00:00:46.000]
Feel free to use the chat or the QA through the, throughout the session. Happy to take questions through there.
[00:00:49.000]
At any point, if you see something on the screen, you want to know more about, I'm happy to kind of take a left turn as needed.
[00:00:59.000]
We built in some extra time to this session because there are a couple of updates I want to share. About the resources that you'll find on your online learning portal.
[00:01:05.000]
So we can kind of go over those as well. But again, Happy to have questions about those resources too as we go through so we also have April show from the Department of Libraries with us today.
[00:01:22.000]
So I'm sure she'd be happy to take questions as well. And, sorry to put you on the spot.
[00:01:27.000]
Do you want to say hello?
[00:01:29.000]
Hi, everyone. Good morning.
[00:01:32.000]
Already thanks April. So let's go ahead and dive in.
[00:01:39.000]
So the online learning portal is going to give you access a direct access point to a couple of the resources that you get through the Vermont online library.
[00:01:48.000]
And just as a quick reminder, you know, this is a list of a collection that you have available from Gale.
[00:01:54.000]
It is a lot of resources available to your libraries in Vermont. But the online learning portal is actually going to highlight too that focus on, or not focus on, but have a lot to do with adult learning.
[00:02:02.000]
So. Let's go ahead and speak to what that is. So the online learning portal was developed as basically a landing page to guide your patrons to the tools that BPS meet their learning goals.
[00:02:21.000]
So it's developed from public libraries and what you'll find there are The Gale resources around learning and not only would you get the 2 resources that come to you through Vermont Online Library, Gale presents Peterson's testing career prep and you'll present you to me if your library should subscribe to any of our other learning tools.
[00:02:43.000]
For example, our high school or our Excel online high school. Or you know, there are few other things our Yale courses and things like that.
[00:02:54.000]
They would all flow to this page automatically, which is built around again what folks want to learn, kind of what their ultimate learning goal is.
[00:03:03.000]
So you'll see we're going to go ahead and take a look at a live page here in a minute but from the screenshot it basically asked that question how can online learning help you today and then with the buttons below are you looking maybe to do something with your career or build a resume?
[00:03:13.000]
Are you preparing for a test? Do you want to learn a skill? Or do you want to plan for school?
[00:03:21.000]
And then the resources below as you select those buttons will adjust to the resources that can help you fit that goal.
[00:03:28.000]
So these are. Again, the 2 resources you'll have available through, for my, but again, should your library subscribe to any others, you might see some other options there as well.
[00:03:34.000]
So it just gives again a good kind of jumping off point for folks to kind of leap from into their learning and is more of a almost built like a task.
[00:03:49.000]
Type list rather than, you know, a search you would have to perform or something like that.
[00:03:50.000]
So. Each library is available each public library should say. Let me question this. This is just for public libraries is able to have their own landing page.
[00:04:05.000]
So you'll see an option for the online learning portal off of the. Online library page, but your individual library can set up your own specific link for this page.
[00:04:09.000]
There is of course no cost. It's really just you need to know that URL so you can post it where you need it.
[00:04:19.000]
So of course you would want to put it on your libraries website but it also makes sense to put it say if you are promoting some of the learning resources in you know your email newsletter out to pay trends or if you have you know handouts you're giving out at programs you know put the URL in there it's a great way to direct folks to this tool even something we've seen a lot
[00:04:42.000]
of libraries do fun things with QR codes. So maybe in, you know, where you got the shelves of your resume writing books and job interview books and, you know.
[00:04:51.000]
Maybe the different how 2 sections of the library put up with QR code that would send folks to this landing page as well.
[00:04:58.000]
So, kind of endless possibilities for what you can, you know, point people from, to this page.
[00:05:05.000]
So. So let's go ahead and we're going to of course walk through how to do this first, but then we're going to go ahead and do it live.
[00:05:11.000]
So we can see it a couple times. So to find your libraries online learning portal, again public libraries are going to want to follow these steps.
[00:05:21.000]
Other types of users, you know, students and the like of course can access this right the portal right through the public, their public libraries page as well.
[00:05:29.000]
So first you're going to visit our support site that we've developed for Vermont Online Library.
[00:05:30.000]
Support that yale. And when you get to that page, the first thing it's going to ask you to do is select your library from the Dropbox.
[00:05:45.000]
That's provided. And then once you do that, it will produce a resources list of all the databases you get access to.
[00:05:49.000]
From Gale through the Vermont Online Library, but then also a link specifically for the online learning portal and it'll give your libraries access.
[00:06:01.000]
URL. Pardon me URL and then of course again lots of places you can put that link.
[00:06:07.000]
So let's go ahead and walk through. How to do this and see it in action. Oh, and then we're going to come back to the slides and share some product updates.
[00:06:15.000]
So let me pop over to the support page. So again, this is support that gale.com slash VOL.
[00:06:22.000]
And just to make things a little bigger on my screen here. So the first thing it wants you to do is select your library from this drop list.
[00:06:30.000]
And this has always been really handy. It's a great way to basically filter our support page.
[00:06:37.000]
So it just gives you support from the things that you have from Gale rather than the over 200 resources we offer.
[00:06:41.000]
So you don't have to weed through a bunch of, you know, archive newspaper database support to get to the support you need for say, dealing contact elementary or something like that.
[00:06:53.000]
So. Once you enter and choose your library from the list, it just filters all that stuff out.
[00:06:59.000]
And the first thing it provides us with are all the direct links for your library to the resources. For, online library.
[00:07:07.000]
So they're all the in databases like books and authors for readers advisory and the like and this is just an alphabetical listing so since most of these databases are titled starting with Gale.
[00:07:19.000]
We're going to scroll all the way to the bottom and find the online learning portal.
[00:07:23.000]
And there is the URL. Your library could link to. Now the great thing about these URLs just like the Vermont Online Library web page itself, these use geo authentication so it looks to see if you're in Vermont and if you are it just let you into the resources, no further steps required.
[00:07:40.000]
Not everyone likes to let their location be known though. And of course people could be accessing from outside of the state, you know, if they're out of town.
[00:07:53.000]
The or the geo authentication will then prompt for kind of a backup. So for public libraries, your library card number generally, or a lot of libraries use passwords, same things for schools.
[00:08:04.000]
So that really depends on how your library is set up but initially this geo authentication takes care of that as long as the user accepts their location being known so Very handy, but that's the URL.
[00:08:16.000]
Let me go ahead and get rid of that. Circle so I can start clicking again. So you could copy and paste it.
[00:08:24.000]
We have our little clipboard copy tool here so you can click that and it will copy it or of course.
[00:08:29.000]
I'm more of a highlighter and right mouse person, so I just click happy. And we also have a link that will take us out that Errol actually open up the page for us too, but.
[00:08:40.000]
Again, I'm a, and page user, so I'm going to go ahead and do that.
[00:08:41.000]
Now I am coming to you from outside of the state. So it is, asking if it can use my location.
[00:08:51.000]
That won't help me. I'm coming to you from Western New York, but of course you can also select your library from the list and enter an a bar code or password.
[00:09:00.000]
However, because of my, let me see, look, well, my status is a gale employee.
[00:09:10.000]
I would have to do a little fancy footwork here to get to the, welcome page. And I apologize, what I meant to have this open before we got started, but.
[00:09:19.000]
Just concentrating on something opening something else I was going to need so bear with me just a second while I get that open for us here.
[00:09:30.000]
Just a second.
[00:09:43.000]
Okay, so you can see why I meant to do this ahead of time.
[00:10:09.000]
I wanted bear with me just a second.
[00:10:16.000]
There we go. Okay, sorry about that. Pause their books. So here is our live online learning portal for Abbott Memorial Library, which is library I chose from the support page.
[00:10:21.000]
And here's that, you know, looks just like the screenshot I share, but we are live now.
[00:10:30.000]
So let me show you what this page does. Again, we have the question, how can online learning help you today?
[00:10:36.000]
And then we've got the buttons to answer that question and get the recommended resource. So for resume and career, both you to me and Peter's success and career prep offer help along those lines.
[00:10:45.000]
Of course, in Peter's success and career prep, we can see we've got a resume builder, there's a job search, career advice, and so on.
[00:10:54.000]
And in you to me, we've got video courses that can help us prep for interviews, plan for I, Learn for IT certification exams, things like that.
[00:11:04.000]
Maybe we want to be an entrepreneur, we're combine courses on doing that. So really both of those fit the bill, but depending on what exactly I'm after, the little paragraphs here can kind of give me a better idea which resource I may want to pop into.
[00:11:17.000]
And then prepare for a test, same thing because in Peterson's testing career prep we have all of the great Petersen's prep.
[00:11:25.000]
And practice exams, but you to me can also offer help for preparing for against different certification exams, prepare for the SAT and ACT prep and other types of exams as well.
[00:11:30.000]
Help build memory skills. So they both kind of fit the bill there. Learn a skill.
[00:11:43.000]
Same thing. We can kind of learn, different. Courses and you to me on any number of things.
[00:11:47.000]
I'm going to share some updates we've made to the resource quickly, before we wrap up, but this is a resource that is constantly being updated.
[00:11:53.000]
So right now, if I want to learn more about AI and chat, GPT, how I might use it in my work.
[00:12:04.000]
That's perfect for you. They already have courses on that. If I'm looking for, you know, want to build up and maybe create an app or something.
[00:12:12.000]
I can go in to use me. Under Peterson's testing career prep, that resources themed around, you know, kind of schooling and.
[00:12:21.000]
Vocational exam so there's help there for math reading and writing I can actually find some skills around Microsoft products.
[00:12:22.000]
So again these both kind of fit the bill there. Plan for school though, our last button is going to recommend Peterson assessing career prep because of course that's where I can search for colleges universities and you can see how these little blurs change as I move from button to button to again just kind of describe more what I'm after for this resource.
[00:12:50.000]
The other thing you might notice beneath these blurbs, let me just kind of bump around here so you can see the differences.
[00:12:56.000]
We're always letting folks know that there's no cost. You know, that's I think often for a library staff imply you know that the Vermont online library comes at no cost to your end users but that free tag we found with our end user testing they really wanted to know there was going to be no cost for them to go in and take a Udemy course or to take a, you know, practice exam with Petersen because both of those
[00:13:21.000]
companies have, commercial products out there that folks can go to their websites and pay a subscription fee and join and take part but Again, with your resources that come through the library, there is no cost to them.
[00:13:34.000]
So the other buttons letting you know there's video lessons available international courses here because we're preparing for a test, exciting we know there are full practice tests, if we pop under learn a skill.
[00:13:44.000]
Actually, I guess we're getting the same buttons there, but it's just letting you know.
[00:13:49.000]
Kind of, be able to make a more informed decision before you pop into a resource. So again, you walk through.
[00:13:57.000]
The support site, bind your libraries online learning portal, link to it wherever you would normally link.
[00:14:04.000]
Of content for You're patrons. So let me just check the chat and QA here.
[00:14:12.000]
So I will share these instructions that are on my slide through my follow-up email so you've got them again but very simple.
[00:14:20.000]
Basically visit our support site you'll get your URL. The portal actually already exists. You just kind of have to find your.
[00:14:24.000]
Your URL for it so it's already available for all of our public buyers. So I did want to spend a few minutes sharing some updates that are coming for the 2 resources, that are available on your online learning portal.
[00:14:41.000]
So I we'd be able to share. The recently launched, Gale presents Peter's incessant career for updates. However, they have not launched yet.
[00:14:54.000]
We got to make some refinements. It's looking like, mid November is when these will come.
[00:14:59.000]
However, I do have a QA site that I'm hoping I'm going to be able to show you.
[00:15:06.000]
If I can't though, I did want this slide here to kind of let you know what's coming.
[00:15:08.000]
So overall, it's an update to the interface. Make it more accessible, more intuitive.
[00:15:16.000]
We are of course interested in feedback even if you know at this late hour they're still making refinements before the launch.
[00:15:23.000]
So feedback is always important. What I like about it is it almost kind of mirrors what the online learning portal is doing.
[00:15:30.000]
It's becoming more task oriented. You can see from the screenshot there on the right, it's kind of asking you those or giving you those same options.
[00:15:35.000]
So what do you need this resource for? Well, I want to prepare for an exam. I want to find a school.
[00:15:42.000]
I want to. Prepare for a job search. It is asking what you're there for and then giving you the tools to do that.
[00:15:45.000]
So a couple other things that are coming. We're going to have a full Spanish language translation for the interface available.
[00:15:51.000]
It won't change the content of the database at all, but the navigation and the tools will be available in Spanish.
[00:16:05.000]
So there will be down the road since practice tests available in Spanish. We have that request quite a bit.
[00:16:13.000]
It really is kind of tough because there aren't too many tests that are also offered in Spanish so we're going to prioritize those that are and make those available in Spanish as well.
[00:16:22.000]
But that I don't think that's going to be ready for the launch that will come later, but just so you know, something coming.
[00:16:29.000]
We're also making some changes to the sign in and creating an account tool to make account recovery easier.
[00:16:30.000]
Should you forget your password? And one of the other requests we have from libraries to make was to make the title list for this resource to show you all the e-books that are in there and things like that.
[00:16:45.000]
Available in both HTML and PDF. So we've always had it in PDF.
[00:16:49.000]
They're going to make an HTML version as well. So let's go ahead. The beta was working okay this morning.
[00:16:55.000]
Let's see if it will continue to. So go ahead and put that URL.
[00:16:59.000]
And so again, this is not launched. It's going to launch. Shortly it's going to come
[00:17:09.000]
In mid November. And again, when we plan this webinar, we expected this to be launched.
[00:17:15.000]
So I was going to walk everybody through it, but the beta may now may not allow us to get too far, but I think the homepage will give you a good idea of what's happening.
[00:17:22.000]
So this will be the new home. Right away it's going to prompt users to log in, which is always something you've had to do in this resource but it kind of lets you get a few steps in before you had to do that.
[00:17:32.000]
Both found that annoying. They wanted to, you know, get a reminder to log in right upfront.
[00:17:41.000]
So we can now have it right up front on the home page. And it's well, it's always lived up in the corner too, but.
[00:17:48.000]
Put your right there. You need to log in to use these resources. And then again, here's the task oriented menu.
[00:17:56.000]
Well, brief menu on the homepage. So again, the items that we saw for an exam, explore for your options, prepare for US citizenship.
[00:18:00.000]
So again, orienting around a goal or task. And then down the page a bit, just a bit more informational content about what's here in this resource.
[00:18:14.000]
So the kinds of things that are available if you're looking to improve a test score if you want to prepare for vocational tests.
[00:18:20.000]
You're just getting a sense of what's available. Kind of browse around a bit on the homepage to find what you're using.
[00:18:27.000]
And this is especially helpful when someone has found this resource on their own through their your web page or the remote.
[00:18:28.000]
Online library page. And they don't have, you know, someone there from the library to guide them through the resource.
[00:18:41.000]
Let's go ahead and see the browse menu button is going to give you access to everything.
[00:18:46.000]
So if you think about the way testing education, oh sorry, a really old day. Mixing.
[00:18:51.000]
Peterson's static career prep looks now with those kind of 4 buckets on the homepage.
[00:18:56.000]
These are a little like that, but again, they are. As we click them kind of giving us more of the task we need to accomplish.
[00:19:05.000]
So what are you looking to achieve? Improve a test score, find school, explore careers, and then the category are over on the right will match you up with what's available.
[00:19:10.000]
So if I'm looking for, let's go ahead and see. This is an area I wasn't having much luck with the beta earlier.
[00:19:18.000]
Bounding me back to the. On page, but it will start to kind of built her down.
[00:19:27.000]
So I want to prepare for high school task. Maybe I'm looking for AP help. Okay, there are the exams.
[00:19:35.000]
And then we can click to view all. So far so good here in this QA environment is what I'm using.
[00:19:41.000]
So there are tests. The other nice thing that it provides or I think calls it out a little better than it does now is if there are articles associated with helping for this course, you'll find them here rather than having to go elsewhere or they appear over on the sidebar in some cases.
[00:19:59.000]
But the folks don't really notice them over there. So the tabs here kind of give you a, a little bit of help.
[00:20:05.000]
And then although I think was it, yeah, tell word of Kuwait environment. Actually, give me help with A/C to hear instead of the, the exam.
[00:20:12.000]
But those are, the peculiarities you find in a, QA environment.
[00:20:19.000]
We also have added an easier way to keep track of the things you want to work on. So add to my resources is a button you'll see for all of these tasks.
[00:20:25.000]
So you can keep track of them up in. My resources here in the upper right hand corner have let you keep track of the goals.
[00:20:32.000]
You're after. So let's go ahead and see if we can get into. Okay, good.
[00:20:39.000]
Alright, so we have got this as a world stop here rather than going in not much is changing about the practice test environment.
[00:20:47.000]
But Of course you log in and walk through that walk through the property exam so We jump back, we'll show you a few other things.
[00:20:57.000]
We're creating, I’ll use the browser menu again. So find a school, you can pop in to the school search.
[00:21:04.000]
And we're combining kind of and isn't going to search them both but when you get here you can always easily get to the scholarship so often though these 2 things go hand in hand if you're looking for a school you know with college costs nowadays you might also be looking for scholarships so we've kind of made it easy to find there a little more discoverable to get to that scholarship search.
[00:21:24.000]
Of course you can always just search for a college name and this is another area I was having a little trouble with in the QA environment before when I was testing it out.
[00:21:33.000]
Able to. Yeah. They're not populating when I'm selecting from the filters.
[00:21:36.000]
So normally they would, but we can go and put a quick search in. I'm in Buffalo, New York and Yeah, looks like we, we're in the filter, there we go.
[00:21:49.000]
Found schools for me. So bit of a different display here kind of showing these cars.
[00:21:55.000]
And then as you select. Moving.
[00:22:01.000]
And so this is a different look and feel too. I think it's just a bit more modern.
[00:22:07.000]
A little more visual, which is nice. So overall, the interface is I think a bit more appealing to the eye overall.
[00:22:15.000]
So the things that aren't changing though, let me actually pop back though. Bring the menu back.
[00:22:21.000]
So I mentioned that the practice environment is not changing. The other thing that's not changing is most of the career content.
[00:22:26.000]
So the online resume builder.
[00:22:31.000]
Oh, here, let me see if my, will work.
[00:22:46.000]
Yeah, I wasn't able to use it with the testing environment. But let me see if we can get into the resume tool.
[00:22:56.000]
Yeah, so this you can see we use a tool here called visual CV that isn't changing anybody who had an account all of their resumes will move over all of this is mostly cosmetic changes to the homepage and the Petersen tools themselves.
[00:23:11.000]
So you won't notice any changes here with visual CV, but also that means all of your account information kind of moves over because it again it's strictly cosmetic changes.
[00:23:21.000]
So some of the career tools, for example, to find a career where we're using a pathway you I think is the name of the tool here. You still walk through your assessments the same.
[00:23:33.000]
So really what's changing are kind of the specific Petersen tools that online. school search the well sorry not just this is all online I guess the school search the scholarship search the way the courses display the way the and device pages display the way the e-book display all of those are kind of what's getting the update but then we've got these other pieces that are coming from elsewhere like the
[00:24:01.000]
career assessment and the resume builder, that are remaining the same and the test prep environment or the online practice test environment.
[00:24:08.000]
Okay, I’ll just I feel like I'm a little all over the place with the updates there, but wanted to share That.
[00:24:17.000]
Let me tell you also what we've been doing with you to me. So, Gel present you to me as your
[00:24:23.000]
Video. Learning courses. We're up to 24,000 total courses in this collection.
[00:24:25.000]
It is a huge grouping of courses and it covers pretty much everything under the sun. We have over 13,000 courses in different
[00:24:39.000]
Different languages. The international collection has really grown over time. So those numbers have really pumped up and in that case when we when we talk about the international collection that is both the course itself the videos are in that language and then you've got a variety of closed captioning many of the English language courses have foreign language captions as well.
[00:25:02.000]
So we can, we want to reach as many users as possible. I mentioned earlier the speed to market that we get this content into video content into the resource things like the new Apple iOS system, again artificial intelligence.
[00:25:15.000]
I mentioned you chat GPT earlier. Those kinds of courses are there. We've made some updates to the homepage, your recommendations and actually in their colleges.
[00:25:23.000]
So this is what I had spent my time getting logged into earlier, because there's a, you have to jump through a couple extra hoops to get in, but the homepage we moved up the recommendations.
[00:25:33.000]
Based on what you searched and what the courses you've taken. I have gotten moved up in the page.
[00:25:40.000]
They were a little further down before books found these really valuable. So we moved them up. We've also created a place to explore certification preparation.
[00:25:51.000]
So these were always available these courses. They just kind of lived within the various categories below. You know, inside cloud computing or IT operations.
[00:26:01.000]
We've highlighted them though. And created these badges to call them out a little more. The other thing that's new here is we've started linking out so you can learn more.
[00:26:12.000]
About these certifications. So these are all prepped to help you get certified. It doesn't get you certified, but these courses will help you get certified.
[00:26:17.000]
So if you want to know more about what you have to do to be certified that learn more is really handy.
[00:26:28.000]
It actually jumps out over here on the left you can even isolate to say I'm looking for Google cloud certification.
[00:26:35.000]
No, I can recognize their badge. I can link out. More and more. Oh, there's mine.
[00:26:44.000]
Hang on, sorry folks, is that not working? We have that.
[00:26:53.000]
Oh, there it is. Oh, when we view the badge, it does. I apologize. I thought it was to learn more that took us there.
[00:26:56.000]
So when you, sorry, I clicked on view badge details there. Takes you out and directly from Google, you can learn more about in this case the Google Cloud Certification and the different options that are available.
[00:27:10.000]
And if some of these do have costs associated within the actual certification. But again, through you to me, none of the crack you're doing here is at any cost to your end user.
[00:27:19.000]
The other thing we've changed. Let me jump back to one of the courses I'm enrolled in.
[00:27:24.000]
Is
[00:27:30.000]
We've always had a QA available. But this was populated by questions and answers from their commercial tool.
[00:27:40.000]
Out there that again, individuals can go to and subscribe to your users don't have to do that they could always enroll here at no cost but they weren't able to participate in the QA.
[00:27:50.000]
We could see the answers to questions that folks had submitted, but before we couldn't submit any ourselves, we work with you to me actually to offer that feature.
[00:27:59.000]
So you can now ask your own questions of the instructor. So that's great to be able to interact and get questions answered.
[00:28:07.000]
The search is still really handy and seeing all the past answers because often you might get your question answer there.
[00:28:10.000]
But you are able to add your own now as well. So some updates to you to me. But I would say.
[00:28:21.000]
It's like our periodical databases. It's always being updated. New courses are going in all the time.
[00:28:27.000]
So the entire collection, 85% of it is been refreshed in the last 2 years. So either updates to courses or brand new courses.
[00:28:35.000]
It is a lot of great content.
[00:28:41.000]
Alright, I think that's everything I have to share with you today. We have again, great things coming for Peterson's just not quite ready to launch.
[00:28:53.000]
So we are going to wrap up here a little early. I am going to check the chat in the QA, see if anything's come in.
[00:29:02.000]
Good shape. So let me share how you can reach out to your Gale team. I am going to be sharing of course my follow up email with everybody so you'll get that there but always keep in mind we've got lots of other good stuff on the support page.
[00:29:16.000]
Oh, you're welcome, April. Thank you. We have of course that link to your online learning portal, but along with that comes a wealth of marketing materials.
[00:29:22.000]
We've actually created some new ones. I apologize. I thought I had screenshots of them here, but we've got some new tools.
[00:29:30.000]
That focus on Well, actually kind of task oriented things. Some new materials coming that support using Petersen's to see get your nursing degree or your CDL license or something like that.
[00:29:49.000]
So keep an eye out for those I apologize books I thought I'd updated this slide but maybe I forgot to save it but of course we have lots of great training tools out there lesson plan examples you know recorded webinars we have training DAX lines so you can you know go out and deliver training your slides so you can you know go out and deliver training yourselves so always check out what's available on these slides so you can, you know, go out and deliver training yourselves.
[00:30:10.000]
So always check out what's available on the support site. And then, oh, here's okay, here they are.
[00:30:16.000]
Created a separate slide board. Forgive books. When I prep a little early, I sometimes forget what I've got on my slide.
[00:30:21.000]
So here are some of the new things that we've added to this. So in terms of training materials, I'm really excited about our escape rooms for the, we've been really excited about our escape rooms for the In context databases. And we've also developed training tool kits.
[00:30:34.000]
Basically getting yourself trained on a database or helping you deliver your own training. So you've got those for the In Context databases and then we're creating more and more for the other resources as well.
[00:30:45.000]
And then here are the new marketing materials. So I'm not sure if these are all official yet.
[00:30:47.000]
I am, might have stolen these a little, from, from the, mock ups that they were creating, but basically ways to promote the, Petersen's with particular task oriented things. So get nursing programs, CDL and the like.
[00:31:04.000]
So. Those are coming. And with that, when you've got questions that can't get answered on the support site or really you just want to talk to a person, you can feel free to reach out to your Gale team.
[00:31:15.000]
Again, I'm your trainer and you'll be getting an email from me with, you know, the details from the session, a link to the recording.
[00:31:19.000]
But you can also get free reach out to your customer success manager at Gale. They are always a good person to get to know.
[00:31:28.000]
They help you be successful with a resources and they specialized by library type. So if you are a public library, that's who they work with all the time.
[00:31:32.000]
You can share success stories and you know maybe even have answers questions that have come up for other libraries that you're now, I have as well.
[00:31:39.000]
That have come up for other libraries that you're now, yeah, have as well. So they're a great group of folks.
[00:31:46.000]
Definitely reach out. And of course, stay up to date by following us on social media or I always highly recommend our blog.
[00:31:53.000]
That's where we push a lot of our product update details. So it's always a good place to get good in.
[00:31:59.000]
Well. Oh, and of course, thank you, April. And Abel, I'm going to share, I think that just got shared with me.
[00:32:03.000]
I'm going to. Make sure that goes to everyone. So in the chat, April has shared that you can reach out of course to the folks at the Department of Libraries, that April's email address there.
[00:32:14.000]
I'm sure you've seen her name all over the place in different communications and hopefully some of you worked with her.
[00:32:25.000]
If you can work with her. And hopefully some of you even worked with her. If you can, take a chance, take a, take April up by her help.
[00:32:32.000]
If you can, take a chance, it, take a chance, take a, take, take, take April up on her help. Or really just a chat, there's a great person to get to know.
[00:32:36.000]
So, but do definitely reach out. Lots of support, no shortage of places to go or help.
[00:32:41.000]
So. With that I'm going to let folks go a little early. Again thought we would be more time to show up that in your Peters sense but with the beta or the QA environment.
[00:32:52.000]
Can't show quite as much as we hope. So hopefully that gives you a little preview for what it's official launch in November.
[00:32:59.000]
So I'm going to stick around and see if any questions should come up or anything. But if you're all set.
[00:33:06.000]
Go ahead and log off. Thanks again so much for tuning in today and we hope you're excited to use your new online learning portal.
[00:33:07.000]
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
