Gale In Context: For Educators Creating Assessments

Gale In Context: For Educators includes

a powerful assessment authoring platform

designed to help you quickly gauge student understanding

with prebuilt or customized questions.

While on the assessments authoring page,

select, create an assessment, then

enter the title of your assessment

to add previously created questions,

select the find items button,

use the eye icon to preview the question

and use the check box on the left to select

any you would like to use. Once you have

made your selections, hit add items

to author your own question. Select create

item, enter the title of your question

and hit add new,

choose the type of question you want to utilize

the options on the left, provide different question


After selecting the question type,

enter the required information and select

save your question is now included

in your assessment. Continue adding

questions as needed. Once you

have completed building your assessment, you

will need to publish it to assign to students,

select the publish assessment button

at the top of the screen to publish your work.

Once your assessment is published, you can

no longer edit it, but you can create

a duplicate to make adjustments

other educators at your school will be able

to find and utilize your assessments once

they are published, publishing is the

first step in assigning an assessment to
