Gale In Context: For Educators Assigning and Viewing Student Responses

Gale In Context: For Educators allows

you to assign assessments to students

view grades and responses and provide


to assign an assessment for students. First

attach it to either a document or a folder.

Assessments can be added directly from

the assessments authoring section by

accessing through the assessments authoring

button in the toolbar. Drop down,

selecting an assessment and selecting

add to resource

to add an assessment while in a document

or in a folder, select add assessment

in either and you will be prompted to choose

the assessment

to assign an assessment to your students.

Navigate to the folder or document it's attached

to and select the send to button.

Choose get shareable student link,

consider creating one link per class

to better organize student results,

copy the link and share with your students.

You also have the option to share the link in

Google classroom

view assessment results by selecting the graph

icon next to the assessment in your folder

or by navigating to the assignments

and grades section.

Select an assessment to view the grades,

utilize the scoring and feedback section

to grade questions, not automatically graded

like short answer or essay and

give students feedback.
