That you may have.

[00:02:05.000]
To access your tech share resources, you have direct URLs for your library and you can find all of that information here.

[00:02:11.000]
And the tech share support site that we've created. And what I'll do is I will add this link.

[00:02:21.000]
Into the chat box. So feel free to grab that link. This is a really good one. To bookmark also because once you enter in your library name, let me go to the next slide here.

[00:02:29.000]
Once you enter in your library name, you you click proceed it'll take you to all of your direct URLs so all of your product URLs that you can use on your library.

[00:02:40.000]
So it'll have your location ID built right in there, which is great because if you're looking at usage you'll be able to look at your usage for your individual library.

[00:02:55.000]
So highly suggest utilizing the direct URLs for all of your products that you have from Tech Share.

[00:03:03.000]
All of your gale products that you have, I should say, from tech share.

[00:03:09.000]
Okay, so let's talk about your gale business resources. The first one we're going to talk about is Gale Business Entrepreneurship.

[00:03:19.000]
This resource. You're going to find real-world business plans. We have the business plans handbook, the complete collection is available within this resource.

[00:03:29.000]
You may have some of these on your library shelves, but you're going to find the complete collection here.

[00:03:34.000]
This is really great for our small business owners. But also for our students, our entrepreneurs, our students going into business.

[00:03:43.000]
It's these are really great to utilize in the academic classroom too. You'll find reference works like the Encyclopedia of Small Business is available.

[00:03:52.000]
It's just one example. There's directories which are related to establishing, maintaining or otherwise managing a small business.

[00:04:00.000]
A lot of times what we hear from small business owners is how do I retain my talent that I've hired, how do I keep my employees?

[00:04:06.000]
And we have a lot of great information available within the resource. And those types of topics too, not just starting, but also maintaining your business.

[00:04:15.000]
And you'll also find over 300 full-text entrepreneurial and industry-specific magazines and journals within this resource.

[00:04:23.000]
So that's the first resource that we're going to talk about today. The second one is Gale Business Insights.

[00:04:27.000]
Gale Business Insights is you're going to find great reference content. There's over 4,000 full-text periodicals available.

[00:04:39.000]
And one of the things I really love is that there's over 430,000 detailed company profiles.

[00:04:40.000]
And you're going to find the company financial data. In depth. Country overviews, comprehensive industry profiles.

[00:04:49.000]
This is a great resource. For your patrons, especially if they're looking at investing, if there are folks that like.

[00:04:54.000]
I have a member of my family that is really into investing. And this is a great resource for that, but it's also especially for our researchers and maybe those again small business owners looking to go into a certain field, they can see where success has happened with other businesses.

[00:05:16.000]
And then a definitely for our students. Both high school but really at that higher ed level you'll see that this is a really great tool to utilize in those business classes and courses happening at the academic level.

[00:05:35.000]
You'll find over 1,000 industries with industry reports, competitive landscapes, plunket reports and more.

[00:05:42.000]
The SWAT analysis, some of my favorite to take a look at, financial statements, case studies and articles are available.

[00:05:50.000]
And then tap industry information by country or territory and the companies based there with relevant article content. So again, looking to explain, expand globally as a business.

[00:05:57.000]
You can find great information about different countries. And territories, to within this resource.

[00:06:08.000]
And then the last one we will briefly touch into is our Gale One file business. This is all of your periodical content.

[00:06:11.000]
So magazines, newspapers, academic journals you'll find here. It's a comprehensive business resource for company news.

[00:06:25.000]
Making personal investment decisions or for those folks making personal investment decisions or for students majoring in business or administration.

[00:06:34.000]
One file business provides full-text coverage. All business disciplines, including accounts, economics, or accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management, and strategy, as well as business theory and practice.

[00:06:48.000]
Content on the activities of companies and industries. I like this resource for industry information. It's a really great resource because you have that.

[00:06:58.000]
Periodical content and it's being updated every day throughout the day. So I really like it for industry information.

[00:06:59.000]
Or again, looking at specific companies, what's trending, especially if there's a big change within a company.

[00:07:08.000]
And if you are an investor, it is good to be in the know on that information. And you are going to have multiple periodical content.

[00:07:15.000]
So maybe you have folks that are looking at, you know, the New York Times or the Washington Post, you'll find that content here along with so many other publications.

[00:07:25.000]
So the nice thing is is that within our one file resources they can actually create search alerts or journal alerts.

[00:07:39.000]
So if there's a specific topic that they're interested in or business for that matter, a company, they can, your users can set up a search alert.

[00:07:48.000]
So every time a big change happens, they can. Set it up for, you know, once a week or once a month or every day if they want to.

[00:07:51.000]
To receive an alert. So a great tool to have especially for like I said those investors or students majoring in business or administration.

[00:08:05.000]
And it's international US and regional news that you'll find in these publications. All right, so that's our overview of the 3 resources.

[00:08:11.000]
Now we're going to go live into those resources. Please let me know if you have any questions and we are going to start with our first one.

[00:08:19.000]
Which is guilt business entrepreneurship today. So I'm accessing through our product menu. You'll find the product menu.

[00:08:31.000]
I'll share that with you. Let me go into business here. The product menu actually lives in Each of the resources is in the upper left-hand corner.

[00:08:40.000]
It's a great way to jump between. The resources so I can again view product menu which will take me back to this menu.

[00:08:48.000]
But it is a nice way to jump between those resources that you have access to. Because it has all of them right there.

[00:08:55.000]
Your fingertips. So I'm using Tech Shears account today and I can sign in with Google or Microsoft right at the top.

[00:08:59.000]
Here I'm going to sign in with Google. Oh, and.

[00:09:10.000]
That is not the right.

[00:09:14.000]
I'm in my incognito and I forgot. Let's see if it remembers my password.

[00:09:27.000]
There we go. So I signed in with Google. I can sign in with Google or Microsoft. If we you have any educators I know a lot of our higher ed don't really use Google Classroom you might be using Canvas or D twol but we do have Google Classroom built-in and integrated here so if I were a teacher I could very easily add content directly to my Google classroom.

[00:09:52.000]
I can also translate my resource into over 34 languages. And this is the navigational tools.

[00:09:53.000]
So here are these navigational tools on my homepage as I'm navigating through the resource if I need one of these 34 different languages.

[00:10:08.000]
I have that option available. I'm within my Gale resources. I also can translate the article, but I need to do that at the document level.

[00:10:12.000]
So I'll share that with you in just a moment as we work through the resource. Homepage you can see basic in advance search.

[00:10:25.000]
Again, we have our I was pointing out the navigational tools, but this is our contextual toolbar.

[00:10:31.000]
One thing I want to point out here before we move down the page is what I love in this resource too is you have a glossary.

[00:10:39.000]
So a glossary of business terms. So if you are struggling with a term, you can come into your glossary and look up that term or search through the glossary that option is here too.

[00:10:50.000]
To get that information. So a very helpful tool to have. And then we have our browse topics, title list, search history, get link, highlights, and notes.

[00:11:01.000]
Because we're on the homepage, that's why we're seeing the browse topic section.

[00:11:05.000]
Below we have these categories or 4 categories of topics of interest. At the top of the page. But what I this section here is really helpful to our users because we've pulled out these 4 steps.

[00:11:17.000]
So planning, funding, starting and managing. So depending on what type of entrepreneur you are or maybe what area of study you're going into.

[00:11:30.000]
If I am looking at managing my employees, I can quickly jump to that topic page here. Or if I'm looking at investors, specifically I'm interested in angel investors, I can jump to that topic page.

[00:11:38.000]
What we're going to cover in our 15 min to mastery is all of those business plans. So I have all those here.

[00:11:47.000]
But maybe you're looking at budgeting and then trending small businesses are here on the left hand side once in minority veteran own women owned businesses.

[00:11:57.000]
I have a friend who owns her own business and this tool was really helpful to her. And utilizing, she actually utilized this topic page.

[00:12:05.000]
So. Great content that we that we have available here on the homepage. Now for, of course, I can do a basic search or advanced search at any time, but I'm going to use our topic pages.

[00:12:19.000]
And I am actually going to go into budgeting. And then I want to show you, a couple other things today.

[00:12:26.000]
So topic pages are a curated content. A curated content based on a certain subject, we have an image and an essay overview or I can click read more.

[00:12:36.000]
The read more which you'll see in a lot of many of our articles majority of our articles actually you'll have this explore panel the explore panel always exists but the more like this will vary depending on what article I'm on.

[00:12:50.000]
So maybe I am interested in this article, but I want to additional information related to it or I'm looking for supplemental information or my professors told me, okay, I want you to at least have, you know, 5 different documents or articles or, you know, information.

[00:13:09.000]
For this project you're working on. This is a great tool for students to to utilize that additional information.

[00:13:16.000]
They like what they're on here and are going to utilize it, then they can use that supplemental information too.

[00:13:24.000]
Before I go into the tools, let me go back to my topic page and go over. So we do have some business plans available.

[00:13:27.000]
We have recommended, recommended resources, audio directories, websites, websites if there's any safe vetted websites, audio directories, websites, websites, if there's any safe vetted websites, they'll be listed here, magazines, journals, and news articles that are available.

[00:13:45.000]
So this is on the topic of. Budgeting. You can see the business plans that are here on the left hand side.

[00:13:52.000]
As I scroll down, all of those boxes are available with that content. Now you may see some citation only and this is an option that I have available where it if I wanted to locate this article from the Los Angeles Times in my library, my public or my higher ed library.

[00:14:09.000]
I can do that and that's why I leave. Those citations in there because I want to direct my users to additional content so they know it's available.

[00:14:17.000]
Or look for it in our library catalog.

[00:14:22.000]
Okay, so if I go back to that homepage, I kind of want to jump into a few different content areas.

[00:14:27.000]
Let's go into those invade angel investors and venture capital. So we were in planning and that was budgeting was our first one.

[00:14:32.000]
If I were in planning, I may start with business ideas or business plans. Again, we're going to cover this in our next session that's coming up in January, talking about business plans and how you can utilize it.

[00:14:44.000]
So let's talk a little bit about. Investing today. And again, we have some directories.

[00:14:54.000]
Let me go into those directories because they are unique within this resource. Within your, I should say all of your gale business resources, you have these great directories that are available.

[00:15:03.000]
So if you are looking for other organizations, you can see a trade periodicals. Here's reference works, venture capital.

[00:15:05.000]
So I can click into, I'm gonna click into this first one. And here are different, which is really helpful if you're talking about funding.

[00:15:15.000]
Venture capital and other funding associations and other organizations. So here are the directories. You have emails, URLs.

[00:15:27.000]
Their social media. Contact information all here at your fingertips. So this can be really, really helpful to our users that are looking for funding.

[00:15:35.000]
To utilize the directory information here within the resource.

[00:15:43.000]
Let me know if you have any questions. I do want to go let me go back out because I do want to cover those accessibility tools, but a directory.

[00:15:52.000]
It's probably not the best one to show it. Let me go into recommended. Resources here.

[00:15:53.000]
And you can see we have multimedia also available videos, audio, some, might if there's any images but usually it's the videos and the audio that we have available I have the ability to filter my results this is a great Gale tool that's available in your Gale resources where I can filter by publication date and I really like publication date when I'm looking at my magazines.

[00:16:15.000]
And newspaper because I might want the most up to date, you know, from everything from the last year.

[00:16:24.000]
I want that information. Is always really helpful to have. Or if I'm looking certain subjects, document types, publication titles, and then I have that ability to search within.

[00:16:35.000]
So if I go into recommended resources. I am going to let's choose the second one here

[00:16:43.000]
Again, my explore panel pops up. I want to talk to you about these tools to support accessibility that we have in our gale resources.

[00:16:50.000]
I mentioned the translate feature and being able to translate the article. That's right here. That same icon exists here.

[00:16:57.000]
Here we're at over 40 languages. That you can translate the text into. You can increase or increase the font size.

[00:17:06.000]
I also have some display options. Under display options, I have the ability to change the color behind the text if I need a different font including open dyslexic.

[00:17:16.000]
I have that available. I can also increase the line letter and word spacing. The nice thing is, is once I set this up on my very first article after I've accessed the resource, it sticks with me throughout my session.

[00:17:30.000]
So once I set it up, wherever I go throughout this session, I will have the same view of my document.

[00:17:38.000]
So it's a really helpful tool. To go back to the default settings, it's just in the lower left hand corner of that box.

[00:17:45.000]
I can also listen to the text being read aloud to me if I have translated the text and then click the list and button it'll read it to me in that translated text.

[00:17:55.000]
Now we are at over 40 languages here. We are at 24 languages here. They are the ones that are most used.

[00:18:02.000]
So we have that listen feature available. Also, I have my quicksand options. I can quickly send this to Google.

[00:18:05.000]
Microsoft, email, download or print. If I'm scrolling down the page and reading, I don't have to scroll all the way back up to the top if I want to send this.

[00:18:17.000]
I have my little paper airplane here where I can send to Google Drive Onedrive email, download or print.

[00:18:25.000]
I can also grab a link to any spot within this resource. So if I'm interested in sharing this article, I can use the get link tool and it provides a persistent URL back to this exact spot.

[00:18:36.000]
This is great for library programming. Maybe you're doing, let me go back to those results. Maybe you are.

[00:18:44.000]
Looking at or doing some in covering some information on angel investors or you know getting investors or funds for.

[00:18:57.000]
Small businesses. Maybe that's your focus and maybe in the new year, right? You can create or grab a get link.

[00:19:04.000]
Which will again create that persistent URL back to this exact spot within the resource. So I can highlight that in my library programming that here's all this digital content based on that subject.

[00:19:16.000]
So these topic pages are great for that. They're also great to pull into any coursework that you have at the academic level.

[00:19:24.000]
Okay, so we talked about all kinds of great tools and features that you have available. I pointed out the directories that you have available within this resource.

[00:19:28.000]
And then again on that homepage you have those 4 different categories. That I highly suggest exploring.

[00:19:40.000]
You have more than this available, of course, within this resource. We've just sectioned some of it out based on what our content editors shared that is important to users.

[00:19:46.000]
What they're seeing based on usage and what we're hearing from you all and we've pulled that together here on that homepage but of course we have more than this available within the resource.

[00:20:04.000]
Okay, so that's our brief overview of Gale Business Entrepreneurship. Let's go into our next resource and that is Gale Business Insights.

[00:20:14.000]
Now, Gale Business Insights is great for that deeper insight into companies. And this is global, so it's around the world.

[00:20:22.000]
And on our homepage, we have some great sections again that are very helpful to our users. We have most searched companies on the homepage.

[00:20:31.000]
I bet Amazon is through the roof right now with holidays coming up. If you want to read to business publications you can see great for researchers great for our investors business owners, our students.

[00:20:43.000]
You have these great publications like the New York Times and the Economists right here linked on the homepage.

[00:20:50.000]
Looking for research by certain topics. Maybe I'm looking at diversity and inclusion and I want that topic I can use the content again linked out here on the homepage or I can browse all topics here.

[00:21:02.000]
I have that called action button. Explore certain industries, so I have my most search industry showing up here on the homepage, but I can browse all industries.

[00:21:13.000]
We have over a thousand industries with industry reports, competitive landscapes, plunket reports, case studies all available.

[00:21:21.000]
Then at the very bottom, understanding major markets. Here's some the most searched countries and territories and I can see that if information on some of these by just clicking into if I want to click into the United States I can do that or I can browse all countries and territories.

[00:21:39.000]
So our homepage is nice and organized with some information. We also have our contextual toolbar here on the right hand side.

[00:21:47.000]
So, let's, I usually go into Apple, but let's go into Amazon. And this is one of our most search companies.

[00:21:53.000]
I don't have to do a search because I'm gonna use it from the homepage and let me show you all that we have available once we click into that company profile.

[00:22:02.000]
I can see I have their website and all this great information right at the top of the page, the revenue.

[00:22:09.000]
How there's 15 subsidiaries of the company where it's located at the country and territory, additional information while they have over a million employees.

[00:22:18.000]
Company overview, you have some in-depth articles. So I had mentioned that there's articles available.

[00:22:27.000]
You have some in-depth articles about the company history. I'm also company details, so leadership, historical revenue.

[00:22:30.000]
Our SWAT analysis, which I'll click into in a moment. If I wanted the, and the nice thing is is if I click into any of these like the full balance sheet, let me choose that one first.

[00:22:47.000]
I can still get to those other categories that were there on that page I was just on. Let me go back.

[00:22:55.000]
So see I clicked into full balance sheet, but maybe I wanted the full income statement. There That information is here, income statement, cash flow statement ratios. So I don't have to keep going back and forth.

[00:23:06.000]
I can just switch. And go into that next category about the financial performance of Amazon. I can put you some filters here.

[00:23:16.000]
If I want quarterly, I'm looking at reporting periods. I want to compare it with another company.

[00:23:17.000]
That's where that comparing contrast comes in. Show all metrics, I can download this data.

[00:23:27.000]
And then here I'm on the balance sheet so I can see. The information on Amazon. You can see how this could be really helpful for your students if they're especially if they're doing any type of comparisons or deeper dives into businesses.

[00:23:42.000]
Investment Reports. I could see those investments. Reports great for our investors. And then any SCC filings.

[00:23:52.000]
Would be listed here. Good to know if there's any problems. If I go back to that company profile.

[00:24:00.000]
We're going to go into the SWAT analysis.

[00:24:05.000]
And I can again. Have my quicksand tools here but if I wanted to download this or print it off I still have that I have that option here too where I can or just scroll through, I can enlarge this information and.

[00:24:20.000]
Look at that global, the information from global data.

[00:24:25.000]
Okay, and this is a five-page report. I believe So you're also going to find, because it's a SWAT analysis, you'll find each of those, you know, the strengths, the weaknesses available here.

[00:24:38.000]
Any threats? Because it's part of your SWAT analysis, but also just a great tool to have that SWAT analysis on this company profile page.

[00:24:50.000]
Alright, as I scroll down you can see a graph of the financial performance over time. Competitors and I can go to their pro company profile pages also.

[00:25:02.000]
On the right hand side this is looking at the industry. Now this is all that information that was on that homepage, right?

[00:25:08.000]
Industry specific information. Classification and then below we have all these company articles. So similar to what we saw in entrepreneurship where we have these content types available.

[00:25:21.000]
I can, an organization with these buckets or boxes below. Again, I can do a deeper dive.

[00:25:27.000]
I'm doing my research and I have all this content on the company profile page. Makes it very simple.

[00:25:33.000]
If I wanted to share this company profile page. Can use the get link tool. Or again, I can pull this into Google Classroom if I were using Google Classroom.

[00:25:44.000]
If you are using any of our learning management systems like Canvas or D twol we are integrated with learning management systems.

[00:25:49.000]
There's a little bit of setup that needs to happen on the backside, but our customer success managers can help with that.

[00:26:01.000]
Work directly with your tech folks if you're not the one in charge of that and make sure that these resources are integrated.

[00:26:04.000]
Right into your learning management systems so you can simply embed this right into an assignment. You can share a link to it right from within your learning management system.

[00:26:17.000]
So it makes it really easy and seamless to share this content. With your users or your students.

[00:26:20.000]
And then for our public libraries, you have that get link tool where you can grab this and put it right on your within your library programming.

[00:26:32.000]
Okay, so that is a bit of an overview of this resource. If I wanted to, again, if I wanted to go directly into a publication.

[00:26:43.000]
I can click on the economist and it looks a little different here because I have all of the all of the current, you know, from this goes, wow, we go all the way back to, looks like full-text coverage from 1988 to current but I have each of the magazine journals available here.

[00:26:59.000]
I can look at December the thirteenth. Was yesterday and by clicking into it I have all of the articles.

[00:27:12.000]
Information available from that journal for that day or from that publication for that specific day.

[00:27:21.000]
Alright, let me know if you have any questions on Gale Business Insights. Hi, let's see if there's anything else.

[00:27:28.000]
Again, we'll be taking a quick little 15 min covering specific information. And the the resources moving this will be in February and I think I covered everything I wanted to touch on today just as that brief overview.

[00:27:44.000]
And this one. It's been over a year now that it received the major enhancements and it's just I always enjoy coming into this resource because of how the content is organized but the content that you're going to find available.

[00:28:00.000]
Now I will say this the companies that are public We do have a lot more information on, of course, as compared to the private, but private owned companies.

[00:28:08.000]
We still do have information on those companies. So you're going to find both. And then these most used topics like I pointed out diversity and inclusion, let me click into that one real quick.

[00:28:20.000]
You can see we have the content types are slightly different within this resource where you're looking at market share and rankings, companies, trade journal articles.

[00:28:31.000]
You also have still those academic journals as we did in entrepreneurship. Let you have market research reports also available in case studies.

[00:28:40.000]
So a little bit different content because of the type of resource we are in.

[00:28:45.000]
All right, let's go into our final resource and then we will, and that one is actually in periodicals.

[00:28:52.000]
And then I'll go back to my PowerPoint and share with you where you can go for additional support.

[00:28:58.000]
And we are going to go into the final one is Gale one file business. Now this one again is great for.

[00:29:04.000]
That industry specific information. So we have one file business is periodical content on the homepage. We have one of our search options that actually lives under advanced search in our Gale resources or sometimes it's on the homepage like in our one file product family.

[00:29:22.000]
And this is a visual representation of your search results. We also have a subject guide search and a publication search.

[00:29:30.000]
So if I wanted to look for the New York Times or the economist, I can pull that publication information up and I want to share with you I'm setting up those journal alerts within this resource.

[00:29:43.000]
So I'm actually, instead of doing a basic search, I want to show you topic Finder.

[00:29:48.000]
And we talked about Amazon. Let's talk about, let's focus still on a company. But this is, again, a certain industry.

[00:29:52.000]
So if I was looking for, well, let's do coffee and tea as an example. Or maybe I'm in restaurants and I want to look up restaurant management or that type of restaurant management or that type of those are great topics to look for but let's look up coffee and tea and see what we get back.

[00:30:11.000]
Oops, if I can spell the day.

[00:30:17.000]
And I might want to add industry here, but oops, I didn't put and in there.

[00:30:21.000]
My, There we go. I haven't been finding that my mouse and keyboard are ready for a break.

[00:30:28.000]
Winter break, they have not been working the way that I'm expecting it to. So, okay, so this is our topic finder is visual representation of our search results.

[00:30:39.000]
It's interactive. Our users love this tool. We have either the tiles or the wheel.

[00:30:49.000]
2 different visualizations there you can see at the top. If I was looking at, you can see here the larger the tile.

[00:30:53.000]
The deeper the color, the more information we have. So coffee market, but I do have at least a little tiny green ones down here.

[00:31:04.000]
So if I was looking maybe at breakfast, I could click into that one. But I'm going to click into coffee market.

[00:31:11.000]
Then here you can see market research. I'm consumer instant coffee, the tea industry. And each of these, if I click into them.

[00:31:21.000]
My information on the right hand side changes and it's pulling in that content. From the cot from coffee and tea the subject of coffee and tea and I drilled it down to the beverages coffee industry.

[00:31:27.000]
So again I can go to This article, all of my tools and features are available. I have the supplemental information, related subjects are here, and I have this great article.

[00:31:42.000]
All of our documents available within our resources including multimedia have the source citation attached. I can change it from MLA to APA, Chicago, Harvard.

[00:31:57.000]
I can export this citation. The citation tool up here at the top. In our navigation kind and our navigate our our contextual toolbar.

[00:32:09.000]
We'll just give me the citation. I still have all those options available. We're here if I let's say I need APA seventh edition.

[00:32:19.000]
I select that and then I send choose to send this article to my Google Drive.

[00:32:26.000]
Then it'll land in a folder titled Gale, One File Business. And I'll have the whole article and the citation will be in that APA format.

[00:32:38.000]
So another tool that we have available within our resources is the highlights and notes where I can click and drag over a chunk of text.

[00:32:47.000]
Choose a color Add some notes. Save that information. And this is available in your Gale Resources.

[00:32:58.000]
So the nice thing is with our gale resources is you're going to see tools and features across all of them.

[00:33:02.000]
If it's something different like creating a search alert, which is available in our one file resources, I always point that out that that is available just in our one file resources.

[00:33:13.000]
But a lot of your, you know, the tools and features are shared across your Gale resources. So I'm gonna add just another one that just says notes here.

[00:33:22.000]
Save if there's a term I'm struggling with I can Just like in any reader, highlight that term, click define and it gives me a page out of the Webster's Dictionary.

[00:33:34.000]
And then don't forget in entrepreneurship we have the ability to use that glossary. Now I can send this marked up document to my Google Drive.

[00:33:44.000]
It still keeps the entire document and the sections I've marked up. And what happens in is that my Google Drive.

[00:33:52.000]
Is this document, these chunks of text will live below my citation at the bottom with any notes I've taken, but there's also something else happening.

[00:34:02.000]
And let me go, I'm gonna go back to Finder.

[00:34:08.000]
And I. I'm actually going to reset my tiles. I want to go into a coffee shop, something that We are talking about in our family one day.

[00:34:18.000]
Opening, as part of our retirement actually. But looking at Well, let's look at award-winning coffee roasts.

[00:34:28.000]
Here's a startup guide. Yeah, nice. Okay. Learn how to start a coffee shop.

[00:34:35.000]
I might want to highlight a couple of these items. Choose my color.

[00:34:48.000]
Okay, so I just wanted to highlight on more than one article because what I want to share with you is highlights and notes is being built out.

[00:34:51.000]
This is also a session-based item. I click on highlights and notes, I can view all highlights of notes.

[00:35:02.000]
And they'll take me to this section. I'm within the resource that's being built out.

[00:35:07.000]
And I can just send what I like to call digital notes directly to Google, Microsoft, email. I can download or print this information off.

[00:35:13.000]
I can edit my notes before I send them.

[00:35:22.000]
Great for students if they're pulling information into into their projects or papers or they're working collaboratively collaboratively, same with business owners or future business owners.

[00:35:33.000]
If I wanted to send this to my Google Drive and then share this. Document or these notes that I pulled out with my partner.

[00:35:42.000]
I could do that. Also just. Great knowledge for our researchers or those again looking at specific industries or investors.

[00:35:51.000]
Just a great tool to have and available in your Gale resources. This highlights the notes feature. And I again like to call these digital notes and when I send this to my Google Driver Microsoft One Drive.

[00:36:00.000]
The article remains linked out. So even from my Google Drive, I can go back to this article.

[00:36:10.000]
Now, won't save my highlights that I've highlighted but I won't need them because I just if I'm sending the digital notes I can I also have the best practice of all we sending the entire article so that's the best practice I like to share.

[00:36:25.000]
Always send your entire article, especially if you've marked it up. And then You can also, like I said, go into your highlights and notes and just grab those digital notes that you have available.

[00:36:37.000]
If you need a bibliography, it's already attached. And I can also even label or create a legend if I wanted to.

[00:36:40.000]
So maybe purple is. Facts. And I can save that and it creates that legend over here.

[00:36:54.000]
So helpful tool to have. And then we have this disclaimer here, just a reminder that if I don't come in and send these highlights and notes to somewhere wherever I decide my end location will be, then I will lose that information because as soon as I close my browser, it's not saved within the resource, so it's always the best, that's why I always say best practice send the entire

[00:37:18.000]
article so at least you have this if you forget to go in and send your highlights and notes. Okay, now I did say I was going to do one more thing and that was.

[00:37:30.000]
Let's do coffee industry. There we go. I wanted to share with you how to create a search alert.

[00:37:40.000]
So when you've done a basic search, when I click on search alert, I can choose to have this email to me or as an RSS feed in my browser.

[00:37:50.000]
I can select the or provide the email and decide the frequency, the format I would like it sent in.

[00:37:57.000]
I do have to provide my birth year and then I create that alert. And it'll be sent to me as often as I choose to.

[00:38:04.000]
Even if I filter down the information like by subject here, maybe I want. Everything on, I don't know, coffee.

[00:38:13.000]
And I'm looking, I can even select public certain publication titles. I only want information.

[00:38:19.000]
From the, let's see. International trade, forum maybe Harvard Business Review. That's a great one.

[00:38:25.000]
I can apply those publications and then once I set up that. Make all these selections then I can set up my search alert and it'll only send me information based on exactly what I'm looking for.

[00:38:40.000]
So, great tool available within your One File product family. So this is that search alert is only available in your One File product family.

[00:38:51.000]
Is the Gale Business Insights the only one that can be integrated? I'm answering question.

[00:38:52.000]
Sorry, changing gears here is a Gale Business: Insights the only one that can be integrated into a learning management system?

[00:38:56.000]
No, your gale resources can be integrated any that you have from tech share integrated into your learning management systems.

[00:39:09.000]
For our public libraries, they have access to you to me. That one is separate. That one is is not available, but we have a list of resources that can be integrated into your learning management systems.

[00:39:15.000]
So our customer success managers can help with that. And there's a key and secret that need to be provided and put in your system and we have URLs that are needed.

[00:39:32.000]
So there's a little bit on the backside, like I said, that needs to be set up, but they can help with that.

[00:39:35.000]
And with that question, thank you for asking. I'm going to wrap up the live part of our training today.

[00:39:38.000]
And go into our back to our PowerPoint. If there are any questions about the resources. Please let me know I'm happy to come back into them.
