[00:00:00.000]
Speaking, I should be able to do that right now.

[00:00:01.000]
Yeah.

[00:00:02.000]
There it goes!

[00:00:04.000]
Excellent.

[00:00:05.000]
Okay, thanks Michael. Alright. Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome. I'm Stacy Knibloe, your Gale trainer, apologize. I normally have a my head shot up here, and a little introduction. I must forgot to put that on the slide. So welcome, folks. Glad to be with you for our JerseyClicks webinar, creating engaging resumes with Gale Presents: Test and Career Prep.

[00:00:26.000]
We're, of course, thrilled to be able to offer this resource through the Jersey program to our New Jersey library. So I'm glad to be joined by Michael today from the State Library, and he usually keeps a good eye on the chat and the QA. So hopefully, we can answer all your questions today. However, if we don't have the answers,

[00:00:46.000]
I always know where to go to get them and you'll receive a follow-up email around this time with a link to the recording as well as other handy links. And you know, tools we may talk about during the session.

[00:00:59.000]
So with that, I think we're ready to go ahead and dive in.

[00:01:02.000]
Our agenda is pretty straightforward. We're going to give just a brief overview kind of what Peterson's can provide. And then we're going to spend most of our time in the resource creating resumes and showing all the different tools that come with that resume builder as well as all of the support. Because it's not enough to kind of know you need a resume right? You might need some help. And what goes into it. You know, whatever.

[00:01:27.000]
Different formats to use things like that.

[00:01:29.000]
And of course, all the things that may come with a resume and things like that. So we're going to show you where to find some career advice for your users as well.

[00:01:39.000]
And then, as always, we'll wrap up with Gale support. So where.

[00:01:43.000]
And you go for help after today. And that, of course, will also be my follow up email that you'll get tomorrow so you can always reach out to your Gale team.

[00:01:53.000]
Alrighty. So again, just a little refresher on what Gale presents Peterson's testing career prep can offer. It offers a variety of tools. Again, we're going to focus on the resume tool today. But you can also use it to find colleges, scholarships, financial aid help. You know.

[00:02:10.000]
Certainly with us, being in the summer here, maybe lots of kids heading off to college.

[00:02:15.000]
I know financially has been tricky. From what I understand the new process and understanding it, but regardless, it's always nice to have a little, maybe a little extra money to help you for college. So those the Financial Aid help and the scholarships tool are really handy.

[00:02:29.000]
You also, you know, folks may be looking for a new career. Maybe it requires some sort of degree or certification really handy. Have that find a college search.

[00:02:38.000]
And then his folks are preparing for college and career. We have test prep. If there's any sort of maybe a civil service exam, or maybe someone's looking to become a firefighter or real estate agent. They're looking to prep for the sat. You have a lot of great college and career related tests where you can take practice exams, usually at least 3 different versions of that exam.

[00:03:01.000]
And then.

[00:03:02.000]
Have it, you know all the multiple choice content. You can maybe see where you went wrong with questions and study up on what's needed.

[00:03:11.000]
And then, lastly, we get other tools for folks looking for career along with the resume tool. We also have a career assessment. That can help point you in the right direction. So somebody's looking to do something new. Or again, maybe we're working with younger students. Maybe they're deciding what they'd like to do with their career, and can get pointed in the right direction. And then again, lots of help based on those tools.

[00:03:34.000]
And we even have a job search tool links you out to great site. So.

[00:03:39.000]
Can do a lot for you. We are going to go focus on the resume aspect. And it's really one of my favorite areas to train on, and Peterson's testing career. Prop well, I should also mention this is, of course, a partner product for us at Gale. So we offer libraries, this kind of version that they have.

[00:04:00.000]
They do have a fee-based service out on their open website. But we're thrilled to be able to offer this content to libraries all in one place, no cost at all to your users, so.

[00:04:10.000]
It is, of course, going to mimic, maybe what you've found in the Peterson's test prep books and college books and so on. But I think, much easier to work with, and just the search capabilities and all the tools that come over that really benefit from being online.

[00:04:24.000]
So one thing, though, that is different than really. If you, if you subscribe to any other gale databases, might be a little different. Is your users do have to create a login to really take advantage of all of the tools, particularly one of the reasons, though, is the resume builder. Folks can build a resume, they can come in and edit it. They can create other versions of it. They can actually even create a website around themselves.

[00:04:48.000]
To take advantage of. And because, of course, that is, you know, kind of personal private info. You've got to have a

[00:04:56.000]
User account to get at those aspects. And, you know, be able to, maybe with a test, pick up where you left off that type of thing.

[00:05:04.000]
Pardon me, so on the homepage you'll see log in, or sign up.

[00:05:09.000]
You're right on the main page, or it's always available up there in the upper right hand corner, and you can do a little browsing around in the resource before you have to sign in. But I was just encourage folks to do that right away, because really, to get to the good stuff. You're going to need it.

[00:05:24.000]
So.

[00:05:25.000]
I have an account where I've done a little work. So I'm going to log into that one. But before I do that, let me go ahead and show you what it takes to create an account.

[00:05:34.000]
Very simple name, email, address, and a password your accounts immediately created. You can use it right away. There's no limits. You have kind of unlimited use here. So you can create multiple different users accounts. I probably have about 6 or 8 at this point for this resource. So no limits in that way.

[00:05:55.000]
However, not everybody likes to use their email address. So we actually have an option to create an account without an email address. Now, I will say. The only thing we use your email address for is to help reset your password if you forget it.

[00:06:09.000]
We don't use it for any marketing or thing, or anything like that. But, again, sometimes folks are not interested in handing over their email address. So that sign up without an email address does allow you to create a username instead.

[00:06:22.000]
And then it does take a little more work to get your password reset, but you can still get that done, and what it will also do is for one time only. It will send you your account credentials if you want to. You don't have to again. It's going to use email to do that. So maybe folks aren't interested. But.

[00:06:40.000]
You can kind of send that to yourself in your email as a reminder what your credentials are.

[00:06:46.000]
But let me go ahead and log into my account, because I've done a little work.

[00:06:51.000]
And ahead of time, so we can.

[00:06:56.000]
Show you a few different features, so let me get logged in. Oh, I know what I did wrong.

[00:07:04.000]
Presenter hang on.

[00:07:09.000]
Sorry folks. Oh, I.

[00:07:11.000]
No, that's right.

[00:07:16.000]
Hmm.

[00:07:21.000]
Oh, okay.

[00:07:22.000]
Didn't have the K. In there.

[00:07:25.000]
To update my little cheat here. Sorry about that, folks.

[00:07:29.000]
Alrighty. So the homepage then pretty much looks the same, even once you're logged in, you'll just see, instead of the login button you now get my resources, and this is handy, because you can kind of keep track of the things you're using in the resource.

[00:07:41.000]
But.

[00:07:43.000]
We're going to go ahead and show you the path to get to the resume tool. So there are a couple different ways. You can come at it.

[00:07:48.000]
Under browse menu.

[00:07:50.000]
You can choose, explore careers and then jump right to online. Resume builder.

[00:07:55.000]
You've also got down below.

[00:07:58.000]
And the Icons explore career options.

[00:08:01.000]
And we can get to it from there as well. There's the online builder, however, before I do that, and we really get into creating a resume. I do want to point out this career advice section because it has quite a bit of content.

[00:08:14.000]
Relating to resumes.

[00:08:16.000]
So I'm going to go ahead and click in. I'm also going to add it to my resources. So later on, that can be just a quick click right from the homepage, but.

[00:08:24.000]
We'll go ahead and go in this path. So it's opening a new tab. And basically what you've got here are.

[00:08:29.000]
Tutorials. Almost. They are mostly to be read. There's not a lot of video or anything.

[00:08:35.000]
But this gives you a way into kind of understanding. Basics. Resume FAQs, target your resume, and so on, and then the things that may come after as well. So if you're interviewing for a job, you're negotiating salary.

[00:08:50.000]
You've also got things kind of to help you get started. Self assessment job search.

[00:08:56.000]
Section and cover letters so kind of covering the things that folks may have questions about. And these aren't like long courses or anything. You're not going to spend.

[00:09:05.000]
Hours and hours here. It gives you a good base of knowledge to kind of get started on your resume, or you know, understand what a job interview is going to require that type of thing.

[00:09:15.000]
You can also jump around in these. You don't have to kind of pick up where you left off.

[00:09:21.000]
You can move around in your entries, and they're brief, usually about a page worth. If you if you think about a piece of paper. Use a page or 2 of information. So you know, shorter articles.

[00:09:33.000]
Good way to get, you know, some basic understanding of what we're, going to you know, use this tool for.

[00:09:39.000]
And again, we've there are several sections here on resume. So the different resume sections, the fa ques.

[00:09:47.000]
Think is always a handy one.

[00:09:49.000]
Aye.

[00:09:50.000]
Give you some good pointers.

[00:09:52.000]
So good place to maybe get started, especially if someone has not put together a resume before, or it's maybe been several years. They're making a career change. And they're interested in

[00:10:02.000]
You know, getting a new resume together for that.

[00:10:05.000]
Alrighty. But let's go ahead and create a resume. So we're going to jump into the online builder. And Peter since has partnered with VisualCV, which might be a site that you're aware of. It's out there. You can visit their site. And as an end user, you can actually subscribe to that tool.

[00:10:23.000]
However, you are getting almost exactly the same thing that you would get if you were paying out at their site for access to visual Cv. We have.

[00:10:33.000]
Kind of almost all of the benefits that come within. There.

[00:10:38.000]
The only thing that's lacking is the live help that you can get. So like you can have someone look over your resume out at that site. But I know a lot of libraries offer that type of service as well. You know different programs, or maybe certain hours at the library. So there are other avenues. But I I'm really thrilled that we have access to all of the kind of top of the line templates and all the resume examples that we're going to explore.

[00:11:03.000]
So.

[00:11:04.000]
It really is nice feature in Peterson's testing career. Prep.

[00:11:10.000]
So when you 1st come to the dashboard, it's going to show you any resumes maybe, that you've already created again. Got us started here with a few any cover letters you've gotten going.

[00:11:20.000]
Websites that you have created, and while I say you have created, I should say that the resource creates for you.

[00:11:27.000]
And then a career journal. Good way to can maybe keep track of milestones in your career. Things you might want to note on a resume down the road. It's good way to keep track.

[00:11:36.000]
And then they have some handy resources as well. So, in addition to the career help that we already saw, you've got some tools here as well, if from their knowledge center, which is really in depth.

[00:11:47.000]
But we're going to stick with the resumes.

[00:11:50.000]
And.

[00:11:51.000]
I'm going to pop into the create new.

[00:11:55.000]
You've got a few different ways. You can create a new one. You can start from, scratch kind of a blank piece of paper and enter all your information. However, I always think one of the hardest things about a resume is actually writing it. It's just, you know. I can maybe make it look good. I know where I want things, but seeing what I did in jobs is kind of difficult.

[00:12:17.000]
And.

[00:12:18.000]
Of course we can get a lot of help from the career advice, but.

[00:12:21.000]
I love to point out using the example, content.

[00:12:25.000]
However, I'm going to start 1st with an existing resume. So let's say, you've got a user who has created a resume. Maybe they want to make it look better. It needs an update. Maybe they're applying for different types of jobs. And they want to customize for each one when they've got something to work off of. You can use this use existing, resume.

[00:12:45.000]
And this basically just allows you to upload if you've got it in. Pdf, and word, you've got a few different options here, and I have one to work from. You can also use your LinkedIn profile, which is nice. If folks have set that up.

[00:12:59.000]
So let me upload one of my versions here. Now, you might have to do a little cleanup. It is

[00:13:07.000]
Usually pretty good. It pulls in the content, but you might notice some. Maybe formatting might look a little off here and there. You can always change those things if I want to do it. Just of course all of this is editable. So if I wanted to change the way the date is displaying here. I can go right in and change that.

[00:13:24.000]
Alright, so you've got.

[00:13:26.000]
Basically again.

[00:13:28.000]
Something to work from rather than starting with a blank page. So if you already have a resume, you can always create.

[00:13:34.000]
From that. So again, Pdf. And words seem to be the most common, you can pull it from a PowerPoint as well, and then it also offers the LinkedIn import.

[00:13:44.000]
But let's say again, I'm starting fresh. Maybe I am a high school junior, looking for a job. Maybe I've just graduated college. Maybe I'm looking to make a career change. I want to start fresh with a new resume.

[00:13:58.000]
Again, you can always start from scratch and have that blank canvas. But one of the big benefits of visual Cv. Is the amount of example content they have to work with. So these are basically prewritten examples that then you can then edit, maybe put it in your own words, make adjustments as needed. You're not staring at a blank piece of paper.

[00:14:17.000]
So it will pop up and show you some of the examples that are available. And it really runs the gamut. You've got folks with lots of experience or lots of education as well as examples. For folks with, you know not much of either. You can.

[00:14:31.000]
Perform a search to find what you're after. So let's say I've had experience. Maybe I've.

[00:14:35.000]
You know, worked as a cashier. You can't whoops my spelling there, and you can see as you start to type.

[00:14:42.000]
It will suggest some of the resumes that it's got. I'm just going to go ahead and select cash here.

[00:14:48.000]
And it will show you the match. You can preview it. I'm just going to go ahead and select him, and we'll import it in.

[00:14:55.000]
Hi.

[00:14:56.000]
Pardon me.

[00:14:57.000]
So here it is. It even picked a template for me which I can always change. But.

[00:15:02.000]
It's filled in all those sections. So I would go in and Mark, while I didn't work in earmark, I worked at Wem. And how can I change? You know you just click.

[00:15:11.000]
And make those changes.

[00:15:13.000]
So I'm a much better editor, I think, than I am a writer, so I appreciate this kind of boost in that.

[00:15:19.000]
I can go through and make adjustments, because not only sometimes this is hard to recall all the things you did in the job, but to put it in that resume.

[00:15:28.000]
So it probably wouldn't occur to me to say something like ringing out customers as fast and as efficiently as possible. Right? So it helps with the wording as well, which I think folks struggle with.

[00:15:38.000]
And you can always add in new entries. So if I had more than you know for past jobs I wanted to put here again you can always change. There's the option to add entry. Everything's very editable. You can also move things around so kind of one of the.

[00:15:53.000]
Things we see with a lot of resumes. If you have a lot of work experience, you put that up front.

[00:15:58.000]
But let's say you're a recent graduate, which you've really got is not a lot of work experience. But you've got your degree. You can move things around. If you just click.

[00:16:06.000]
That little up arrow. It will move that up for you.

[00:16:11.000]
So lots of ways to edit here and make the changes that we need to.

[00:16:15.000]
Now you can even add on other sections. Maybe I've done a little reading in the career advice, and it's mentioned maybe this is a section I should include here links to maybe a portfolio or something like that.

[00:16:26.000]
You can always add on different sections.

[00:16:28.000]
And I can change the way it looks as well. So up top, right above the resume. I've got options for different fonts, so if I, you know, like something a little different.

[00:16:38.000]
I can make those changes. See what I think.

[00:16:41.000]
Hi.

[00:16:42.000]
I can change the font size. So maybe if I don't have a lot of my resume, maybe want to.

[00:16:47.000]
Up that

[00:16:49.000]
Font, size.

[00:16:51.000]
I'm like how I used to write bigger on my papers in high school. So they looked longer.

[00:16:56.000]
You can also change up the colors. So if you know, want to adjust these, you can even put in the hex codes if you have them.

[00:17:03.000]
Hi.

[00:17:04.000]
Always reset it if you decide. No, I don't like anything I did here. I want to reset it, put it back to its standard. I can always reset.

[00:17:11.000]
However, this isn't the only style I can pick from again. Another one of the big benefits of visual Cv. Is, if we look over on the left.

[00:17:18.000]
I can adjust the template that I have.

[00:17:21.000]
And they've got a wealth of these to pick with as well, and they add new ones all the time. In fact, this one is new this week, this new valiant. I'm going to go ahead and select it.

[00:17:29.000]
So.

[00:17:31.000]
And it, in.

[00:17:32.000]
And there we go.

[00:17:34.000]
Always just works with the content you have, and resets it.

[00:17:37.000]
To that template that you've chosen.

[00:17:40.000]
So really handy.

[00:17:42.000]
You can, of course, once you get it the way you want download. If you look in the upper right hand corner there you can download it in Pdf, or word, maybe can take it. Does, you know, usually browsers going to be running a spell check, anyway. But even if it's not. You can always pull it into word running, spelling, and grammar check and make sure everything's okay. Do any other editing you may want to do there.

[00:18:02.000]
I can always download the Pdf, depending on what software you have may not be editable, but the word version usually is cause even upload that into an online word and take advantage of their free tool.

[00:18:14.000]
There is an option to share here, too.

[00:18:17.000]
It offers a couple of our options for sharing.

[00:18:21.000]
I'm going to show you, though, another way. If we go over here on the left.

[00:18:25.000]
Into settings so just under that templates button.

[00:18:28.000]
It actually shows you the 3 different ways you can.

[00:18:32.000]
Kind of share, or set the privacy here.

[00:18:34.000]
So you could also rename it. So if this is the resume I've got for maybe.

[00:18:40.000]
Forgive me typing here.

[00:18:43.000]
I want to use for accounting jobs. I can name it that.

[00:18:46.000]
Aye.

[00:18:48.000]
The privacy level is always set to the most private what we call export, only so I can't.

[00:18:56.000]
Do anything but really download this and share it myself with export. Only you've got to use that download option, or you could even, of course, just print it, but it's up to me to share it in some way with whoever I want to have it.

[00:19:10.000]
You can also set the resume, though, to unlisted. And what this does is create.

[00:19:17.000]
A URL for you to give someone. So maybe put in a cover letter or share over an online application.

[00:19:24.000]
And as long as they have that URL, they'll be able to visit and see your resume just through their browser. Don't need to exchange any downloads or upload any files. You can just send them right to it.

[00:19:35.000]
Listed, though, means it's not going to be indexed by search engine. So the only way to reach it is through the URL that you share out. So again, it's really on me to share that with people.

[00:19:48.000]
I've also got the option to make it public, and then it becomes searchable by search engine belonging Google.

[00:19:56.000]
And this is set to public, it would find this so it really just kind of makes you more.

[00:20:01.000]
Maybe if you're more open to being contacted, it is.

[00:20:06.000]
Available. You can still use the URL, too. You can still share that with others. But just that public setting makes it so. It's indexed by search engine that can be found online.

[00:20:16.000]
Now this is, I did not go to Boston University, so I'm going to go ahead and set this back to export only and save it.

[00:20:24.000]
Don't need false info out there.

[00:20:26.000]
But here we have.

[00:20:30.000]
Our, you know.

[00:20:31.000]
I have do a little work here, probably again, but I've got my resume so.

[00:20:35.000]
You have all of these tools over on the left to take advantage of as well. We can look at other, resume examples if we want to can again import.

[00:20:45.000]
Replace out this content. We looked at Page layout. Yet it mostly gives you the options up here at the top. It's not a ton. You can just adjust basically the margins because we're using these set templates. So if I don't think this suits, I can go take a look at another template. That might, but not always a lot of page layout options, because we're using these templates.

[00:21:06.000]
One of my other favorite features is over here on the left again, under history. So say I've done a lot of work to the resume. Now, granted, this is a new one I just created, so I don't really have a resume on history, but you can see past versions of the same resume, and you can restore it if you want to go back to kind of where you started.

[00:21:24.000]
So again, I see that on other ones I've worked with. But since this is brand new, I don't really have a history here yet.

[00:21:30.000]
Hi! So lots of options.

[00:21:33.000]
For working with the resume.

[00:21:35.000]
Aye.

[00:21:36.000]
Now, the other tools that come with the resume builder are up here across the banner. We can again have it create a website for us, and it bases it off of your resume, so I can show you one that I created before.

[00:21:51.000]
I, it is again going to be something I can hand out and share with people. But it's just in a you know more of a online format rather than a document.

[00:22:02.000]
And folks can find out more about me.

[00:22:05.000]
Aye.

[00:22:06.000]
You again.

[00:22:08.000]
Base it off a resume. So when you create new.

[00:22:11.000]
You just choose one of the ones you've got going from an existing, or, again, can create a new one through the upload, using example content, or again start from scratch.

[00:22:24.000]
Cover letters.

[00:22:25.000]
Are.

[00:22:26.000]
Going to be a good start. It's not quite as extensive as a tool as the resume builder. But what I do like about it.

[00:22:34.000]
Is again, you can choose different templates, so maybe you can make it match your resume if you know you're going to have both.

[00:22:40.000]
Go ahead and select one, and it doesn't offer a ton of cover letter examples. But what it does is kind of fill in a bit of the of the letter. You can find more help about cover letters in the career advice that we looked at the start and also the knowledge center here that visual Cv. Offers.

[00:22:57.000]
It doesn't have all the same example content. So we.

[00:23:01.000]
Have.

[00:23:03.000]
Let Peterson know. That would be a great feature for them to ask for from visual Cv. So partners of partners, sometimes a little hard to reach so hopefully. That's something we'll see down the road.

[00:23:12.000]
But yeah.

[00:23:13.000]
Can download this. I have the ability to, of course, do all the editing, and then make that available.

[00:23:21.000]
The Career Journal is a great place for folks to keep track of career, milestones and achievements, just as it says. At the top of the page there, so.

[00:23:31.000]
As you're in your job, it may not, you know, be something you're really tracking, that these kinds of things could go on your resume, you know. Certainly something like a promotions going to come to mind. But you know, maybe a big project you worked on so creating a training catalog is something we're actually doing it, Gale. So I can make a milestone here to note that. So when I update my resume, I can make a point there, so I on boarded 3 new trainers. I can.

[00:23:55.000]
You know, make a note about that. So again, it's kind of giving you content. Maybe you can put in a resume or doesn't have to go on a resume could be something just little reminders, maybe, to talk about when you're in interview. That's something we often ask. You know, pre prospective employees. Has there been a big project you worked on? You know, big challenges, things like that. How did you work with them? Those are all the kinds of things that can go into these career journal. So you can keep track of them around.

[00:24:20.000]
Remind yourself about them when it's time, maybe, to call them to mind.

[00:24:24.000]
So very simple. Just, you know, basically, you're filling in almost a little.

[00:24:28.000]
Almost like a little diary.

[00:24:30.000]
But.

[00:24:31.000]
Really simple can even add media. So again, say, it's a project you worked on, maybe produced a presentation a Pdf, something like that. You can add that media.

[00:24:41.000]
And then these are things you can also add to other areas of the resource.

[00:24:46.000]
And then, lastly, is the career services tool. So this would take you out to.

[00:24:52.000]
Visual Cv. For more of their paid services. So it's, I guess, a little bit of a promotion. I'm not sure if it'll be sticking around this is a newer addition, so it may go away. We don't tend to like to send folks to things where they're going to have to pay.

[00:25:10.000]
So that may. That may go away, but it's there right now. So I did want to explain what it is.

[00:25:16.000]
So let me take a look at the quick chat here. See if there's.

[00:25:22.000]
Anything I should address. I think we're okay there. Michael shared the survey for the session.

[00:25:29.000]
And I think we're in good shape in the QA. Too.

[00:25:33.000]
Right.

[00:25:34.000]
So let's go ahead and wrap up. So, looking again at the resume tool, we can come right from.

[00:25:41.000]
Jump back to the homepage here, right from the browse menu on that resume builder or.

[00:25:47.000]
The path I took, explore career options.

[00:25:50.000]
And it's right there. I'm going to add that to my resources, too, and I'll pop back to the homepage show you where that pops up.

[00:25:58.000]
It's going to appear in that blue, my resources button which becomes available once you've signed in.

[00:26:03.000]
And it's going to take you to all the things you've set aside. You can see some that I've done before.

[00:26:09.000]
And.

[00:26:10.000]
Where's my.

[00:26:14.000]
Oh, exporter! There we go!

[00:26:17.000]
Oh, no! Sorry I'm that's

[00:26:20.000]
That's not what I that's sorry. That's a session I keep yesterday. Sorry. Here we have the 2 that I just marked the session. There's my career vice. And there's the online resume builder.

[00:26:29.000]
So there we go.

[00:26:32.000]
Alrighty. So let's look at the live resource and what you can do with the resume tool.

[00:26:37.000]
Wanted to share just a few more things. So we've got lots of great support for Peterson career prep out on our support page for New Jersey. We've got all our recorded sessions that we've offered before, and you can get to all of our training and marketing materials. So if you kind of want to spread the word that this is available, you know, if you're in maybe a school library setting, you want to let your guidance counselor know it's available. You can always take one of our

[00:27:00.000]
You know a little.

[00:27:01.000]
Bookmarks, or something like that. Put that in their mailbox, or we've even got e newsletter copy. So you don't have to recreate the wheel, something you could include, and any messages that go out we've got, you know, sometimes sample emails. We have sample social media posts, so you can again not have to recreate the wheel. Just take advantage of some of the tools we offer, and then, if you want to dive deeper into the resource, of course, the training the training section has a lot of great.

[00:27:26.000]
Things for library staff, but also just for your end, users things like tip sheets and tutorials to help them get them comfortable with using the resource.

[00:27:35.000]
And then, of course, we've got a lot of our tech support, too, and one of the things you can find there.

[00:27:40.000]
Our markets for and links.

[00:27:45.000]
For the different subject hubs and eBooks that are in the collection. So these can drive people right from your catalog, or if you wanted to put links to the subject hubs. Maybe on your website. What they do is just kind of start you off in a specific section of the resource. So someone comes into your catalog and searches for resume help.

[00:28:04.000]
They would find content from Peterson's. It can link right into the resource so.

[00:28:10.000]
The markets, of course, for your catalog, and then just direct URLs to send users to these places in the

[00:28:17.000]
And the resource itself.

[00:28:20.000]
And if you have questions about doing any of this, you can always reach out to your Gale team. So I am your trainer for Jersey. So if you're not sure we're out to start, feel free to reach out to me. If I don't have the answer, I know where to go to get it.

[00:28:34.000]
We also have 2 teams that serve different library types. So for our K 12 and special libraries.

[00:28:41.000]
They can always go to our customer success team, and they.

[00:28:44.000]
Can help you be successful with the resources. They always have. Lots of good ideas, can share things that other libraries have done, maybe to promote the resources or.

[00:28:55.000]
Questions about your usage. They're an excellent resource to go to.

[00:28:58.000]
Same for the academic outreach, outreach and engagement services team. So they work with our academic institutions. And you know always what I love about the specializing on these 2 teams is they can share stories from other library types. They kind of know your world. So.

[00:29:13.000]
That's who they're working with all the time and can provide, you know, really specific support.

[00:29:17.000]
Then, of course, tech support is always available. You can always reach out to your Gale sales. Consultant through our rep finder. If you're interested in. Of course I'm sure they'd be more than happy to sell you some more resources. And then, of course, the support site that we mentioned before for that on demand help so feel free to connect with us. However you like. We are always happy to take your feedback as well, you know, we can certainly answer questions, but we'd love to know what you think of the resources.

[00:29:41.000]
And that impacts a lot of what happens. For example.

[00:29:44.000]
The

[00:29:46.000]
Number of tests test prep, that's in the database online practice test.

[00:29:50.000]
Has grown and grown and grown due to our libraries, telling us what else they need test, prep. For so.

[00:29:56.000]
You know. Certainly that happens with other tools as well. But really, that's where I've seen the biggest impact in this resources. That number of prep tests offered. So.

[00:30:05.000]
Oh, sorry! Ignore that that survey. You're going to go ahead and fill out the one that Michael has shared in the chat. Let me just go ahead and delete that so we can.

[00:30:14.000]
Focus on the one that that Michael shared.

[00:30:17.000]
And, Michael, do you have anything you want to add before we wrap up.

[00:30:23.000]
Just to express my thanks to you for being here today. You know we're we are.

[00:30:28.000]
I was just looking over some of the usage of the database today, and it's always great to see people

[00:30:33.000]
You know.

[00:30:34.000]
Jumping in and finding out what is available to them through

[00:30:38.000]
JerseyClicks and.

[00:30:40.000]
Gale's Products, and through the New Jersey State Library as well. And I wanted to express my thanks as well to you, Stacy for joining us today.

[00:30:48.000]
Oh, of course, happy to one of my favorite things to train on.

[00:30:54.000]
So all right, folks. Well, then, we'll stick around, or I will, for here another minute or 2. I'm sorry. I see we're running just a little bit over and take any questions or feedback you might have for us. But if you're all set, feel free to go ahead and log off again. You'll get an email around this time tomorrow. That's when Zoom will auto send it that. We'll have a link to the recording as well as the other tools. So.

[00:31:14.000]
Feel free to stick around, but if you're all set, go ahead and.

[00:31:19.000]
Sign off and get on with the rest of your day.

[00:31:22.000]
Thanks, everybody.
