When troubleshooting problems, Gale will sometimes ask for a HAR (HTTP Archive) file. This helps developers to investigate what caused a problem in a web browser.
Create a HAR file in Google Chrome (Desktop)
- Click ? (Customize and control Google Chrome) > More tools > Developer tools, or type Ctrl+Shift+I, or type F12.
- Replicate the problem you need Gale to investigate.
- Click the Network tab.
- Click Export HAR….
- Save the HAR file to your computer, but change the file name extension from .har to .txt. This will allow the file to be emailed to Gale Technical Support.
Create a HAR file in Microsoft Edge (Desktop)
- Click … (Settings and more (Alt+F4)) > More tools > Developer tools, or type Ctrl+Shift+I, or type F12.
- Replicate the problem you need Gale to investigate.
- Click the Network tab.
- Click Export HAR….
- Save the HAR file to your computer, but change the file name extension from .har to .txt. This will allow the file to be emailed to Gale Technical Support.
Create a HAR file in Mozilla Firefox (Desktop)
- Click ? (Settings and more (Alt+F4)) > More tools > Web Developer tools, or type Ctrl+Shift+I, or type F12.
- Replicate the problem you need Gale to investigate.
- Click the Network tab.
- Click Network Settings > Save All As HAR.
- Save the HAR file to your computer, but change the file name extension from .har to .txt. This will allow the file to be emailed to Gale Technical Support.
