The Gale Digital Scholar Lab topic modeling analysis tool leverages the well-known topic modeling suite MALLET. It allows users to discover groups of words across the documents in a content set that are statistically more likely to occur near each other. In this webinar, you will learn how to run the Topic Modeling analysis and interact with the outputs. At this session we will compare different texts and make notes on the research process and findings. We’ll review examples of when a researcher might perform a Topic Modeling analysis and share considerations in cleaning the content set which would affect the results.
