Duration: 30 Minutes
[00:00:04.000]
Welcome to today's training for LiLI.org. Today's training is Gale ebooks expanding your knowledge.

[00:00:11.000]
My name is Tammi Burke. I'm your Gale trainer. Any questions that you have today, please feel free to use that Q&A box.

[00:00:18.000]
Today for our training we are focusing on one of your gale resources that you have available from LiLI and that is Gale ebooks.

[00:00:27.000]
My goal for you today is to have an understanding of what the ebook platform looks like and how the functionality of this resource works.

[00:00:37.000]
But also the collection that you have available. I'll also share with you where you can go for a additional support, training materials, marketing materials, mark records.

[00:00:49.000]
All of that information I will share at the end of today's training. But I am going to cover all of it today within 30 min.

[00:00:53.000]
So our brief agenda. Is to first start with an overview of the Gale resource and that is Gale ebooks.

[00:01:05.000]
We will explore the content, the functionality, and the support site tools as I mentioned, the MARC records and training materials.

[00:01:13.000]
Questions that you have, please feel free to ask any time throughout today's training or I will say on the line at the end if there's any additional questions and then I will also leave you not only with where you can go to the Gale support site for help, but for one-on-one support at Gale, you have Gale customer success managers that are there to support you in all things Gale.

[00:01:35.000]
And I will leave their contact information at the end of today's training you'll see that and then also it will be in the follow-up email.

[00:01:43.000]
So if you ever need one on one support, they are available to help you. To access your resources from LiLI, you can go to the site to access all of your Gale resources that you have from LiLI and all of your other digital resources.

[00:01:59.000]
Hopefully you're already familiar with that. And that's old information for you all. But I always like to include it in every training just in case.

[00:02:08.000]
Let's talk a little bit about Gale ebooks. So Gale ebooks, you have a collection of ebooks that have been purchased for all of you in the state.

[00:02:17.000]
It is 24 7 content so it's available anytime you and any place your users have access to the internet.

[00:02:28.000]
There's unlimited simultaneous access. So you could have a classroom of students on individual devices.

[00:02:32.000]
Accessing one title all at the same time or one chapter or document from within a title all at the same time.

[00:02:46.000]
There are no holds or returns. So no check in or check out. Just unlimited access. Mobile responsive, our resource or our platform or Gale ebooks platform is mobile responsive.

[00:02:59.000]
So any type of device your your users are using, they'll be able to the screen will automatically adjust.

[00:03:08.000]
And they'll be able to access even from their cell phones.

[00:03:12.000]
You have unlimited downloads available. Like I said, no check in or check out, but also unlimited downloads.

[00:03:19.000]
So if you'd like to print off or download any information from within the e-book collection, you are able to do that.

[00:03:27.000]
I love the browse and search options available within Gale ebooks. Imagine having, I always imagine having all of these print titles in front of me.

[00:03:33.000]
And my library and having to figure out, okay, which one do I need to go to and I'm quickly looking for because these titles are Non-fiction, informative texts, reference is what you're going to find in this collection.

[00:03:52.000]
So looking through those titles can be challenging where you have the different search. Options available and also the ability to browse through the individual collections or the individual books.

[00:04:05.000]
One of our search options and one of my favorites is Topic Finder. It's a visual representation of your search results.

[00:04:11.000]
And it's also interactive. So our users really like this. Search option that you have available in Gale ebooks.

[00:04:20.000]
You can translate the text into over 50 languages. So I mentioned unlimited simultaneous access, but you may have a user that needs the text in Spanish.

[00:04:31.000]
We have that available. So you can train that text. Into over 50 languages now. We just moved that to 50 and you can also translate the platform itself.

[00:04:43.000]
So we're at 34. Languages there and that, that when you're translating the platform that just translates the navigational tools and I'll talk more about that when we go live into the resource.

[00:04:54.000]
Text to speech, you have the listen button that's available, a great tool to support accessibility.

[00:04:55.000]
And then you also can download this feature. As an MP 3 so you can listen to it on your device later.

[00:05:07.000]
Or whenever you need to. And we are integrated with Google and Microsoft and learning management systems such as Canvas and Schoology.

[00:05:15.000]
Google and Microsoft are integrated right within the resource. Any learning management system, there's a bit of setup on the learning management system side, but we have that information.

[00:05:20.000]
And can work with you all if that's something you do. Or if you have tech folks in your building that set up that information in your learning management system, our customer success managers work closely with them and make sure you have the information you need.

[00:05:42.000]
To make sure that your resources from LiLI are available in your LMS.

[00:05:48.000]
Some tools I want you to keep in mind and I'm going to model this functionality for you today.

[00:05:53.000]
You have the get link tool. Which, provides you with the persistent URL back to any spat within the resource.

[00:05:59.000]
You have the ability to share to Google Classroom directly from within the resource itself. You can send content directly to Google or Microsoft.

[00:06:05.000]
And we also have the ability to print, download, and email. To support accessible learning, we have great tools to support accessibility.

[00:06:18.000]
We have the translate feature as I've mentioned. You have the ability to increase or decrease the font size.

[00:06:24.000]
The The Listen button, another feature I mentioned, and then display options where you can change the color behind the text on the page.

[00:06:28.000]
You can change the font. We've also we've added open dyslexic with this new display option feature and then you can also increase the line letter and words facing and I will model that for you today too.

[00:06:47.000]
To encourage analysis, always great when you're talking about ebooks. Is using the highlights and notes tool.

[00:06:54.000]
It really promotes that deeper learning. It offers the ability to color code and annotate your text.

[00:07:01.000]
And then to develop those research skills, you have the ability to browse through collections. You have topic finder, which again is that visual representation of your search results.

[00:07:11.000]
And then citations are always attached to every document. We have within the resources, but we also have the citation tool.

[00:07:20.000]
Separate which offers the ability to just grab that citation, export it, copy and paste it. We have the ability to export it into easy bib and noodle tools just to name a few and I'll share that with you today too.

[00:07:36.000]
Alright, so since I've given you the basics to start with, now let me show you how it all works.

[00:07:42.000]
If you have any questions, please feel free to use that Q&A box. I am going to jump right into.

[00:07:49.000]
The resource itself and

[00:07:54.000]
Oh, there we are. I was looking for the, oh. And sorry, it bumped down here.

[00:07:59.000]
I have too many windows open. 3 monitors going, so I apologize for that pause. Your collection that you have available, you can see on the left hand side here.

[00:08:10.000]
All of the categories are subject categories that your ebooks fall into. Now you may have additional ebooks that you purchase separately from Gale that would also be here too.

[00:08:15.000]
They're all going to be loaded onto the same account. But if you just have everything that LiLI has purchased for you all in the state, then you have quite a fantastic collection to get started with here.

[00:08:36.000]
One thing I wanna point out below, you do have a library login. Now this would be administrator, your library administrator would have the login or admin credentials if you aren't sure what those are.

[00:08:48.000]
That's all right. At the end of today's training I will provide you with contact information for folks that can help assist with that.

[00:08:56.000]
If you are the admin at your building and you're like, wait a minute, I don't know what those are.

[00:08:57.000]
That's all right. We can help you with that. And also it will be in the follow-up email.

[00:09:03.000]
So you'll have that contact information to those folks or directly to our tech support team that can provide you with those admin credentials if you happen to be the administrator at your building.

[00:09:16.000]
And the nice thing is is that with the library login, you can create custom collections. So the custom collections, you would have your own title and you could pick and choose whatever titles you would like to put.

[00:09:26.000]
In to that collection. So I have a document on that that I will share. It's on the Gale support site that I'll share with you that walks you through that process. It's really quite simple.

[00:09:41.000]
Today's training is not focused on custom collections. Instead, it's focused on Gale ebooks in general, but I always like to share a little bit more.

[00:09:43.000]
And then provide you with the tools that you need. To go down that path if that's something you're interested in.

[00:09:54.000]
So looking at the top of the page, we do have the ability to do a basic search, very intuitive.

[00:10:00.000]
We also have advanced search here. Under advanced search is where our topic finder lives. And again, that is that visual interactive tool to search through content.

[00:10:13.000]
Also on the homepage you are going to find the ability to translate the navigational tools.

[00:10:18.000]
Again, these are the navigational tools on the page here. And we're at 34 different languages.

[00:10:25.000]
I am going to sign in with Google today. And but I do have the ability to sign in with Microsoft a best practice if you have users that are using shared computers.

[00:10:37.000]
Best practices to have them sign in to Google or Microsoft if that's what they're using.

[00:10:38.000]
As soon as they sit down. As soon as they try to send information if they haven't signed in and they try to send information to Google or Microsoft.

[00:10:50.000]
At that time, they would be prompted to sign in. But a best practice, especially because we want information to land on the correct person's account within Google or Microsoft.

[00:10:54.000]
That they sign in as soon as they sit down at those shared computers. If I am a teacher. And I sign into Google and I'm set up in Google Classroom.

[00:11:10.000]
I can automatically put information into my Google Classroom. It identifies me as a teacher and I can put information right there in my classroom.

[00:11:20.000]
Scrolling down the page we have the contextual toolbar and the tools here will change depending on where I'm at within the resource.

[00:11:27.000]
And as I mentioned, you have all of these collections on the left hand side. I'm going to show you a couple different search options.

[00:11:34.000]
The first one is browsing through a collection. So. If I were to select, let's select Science.

[00:11:43.000]
Here are all of my ebook titles that are under the subject of science. And these These collections on the left-hand side, these are automatically generated by Gale.

[00:11:53.000]
So we automatically put these 14 titles that are related to science within that science collection. So I can see all of the covers that I have are all the titles I have available if they happen to be a series I would see like in history for example I would see that little blue section here on the title that says series.

[00:12:14.000]
Meaning I have multiple volumes of the American eras. So you would see that indicator there on the title itself.

[00:12:23.000]
If I wanted to click directly into a title, once I select it, It will take me to the table of contents.

[00:12:31.000]
Once I'm on this table of contents page, I have a few options. I have the ability to search within the publication that's up here in the upper right.

[00:12:40.000]
I can also choose to search through all edition all volumes in this edition or just within this value before I put a subject in there or a term that I want to search for.

[00:12:52.000]
On the left hand side we go to the table of contents first and then I can select For example, fossil fuels, which then would open right up to that page of that section within the book.

[00:13:06.000]
Let me go back to that previous page. Few other items that you have you have the book index here.

[00:13:14.000]
So if I were looking for information on geothermal energy, I can see where those sections are within the book, chapter one, and page 121.

[00:13:23.000]
So I can find that content or jump directly to it because these are hyperlinked out. And then if I need a list of illustrations.

[00:13:33.000]
I have those here too. So those are some kind of, sometimes folks aren't available or familiar with that.

[00:13:35.000]
You have those features available. So I always like to point out that additional information once and that's when you click on the title itself it'll take you directly to that table of contents.

[00:13:52.000]
Now let's go back to science. And I want to show you when I click into a collection.

[00:14:00.000]
What happens to my basic search bar is it is only going to search within this collection of science. So if I were looking for everything on Let's say renewable energy.

[00:14:19.000]
Once I put in that term, I can see my results and I have 73 results available. In my results, I'm seeing a title of that document.

[00:14:30.000]
I will see some publication information, how many pages when this was published, this is a topic overview.

[00:14:34.000]
What content level? So we have 5 different content levels. And they're really easy to understand. If you have, if you just remember that level 3 is generally a middle school reading level.

[00:14:51.000]
Everything above that is high school on up to undergrad and beyond and everything below that level 3 one and 2 are elementary level.

[00:15:00.000]
It's really easy to remember if you just remember 3 is middle school and then from there it makes it simple.

[00:15:06.000]
So we have 5 different content levels. This happens to be a content level 4, so that would be more towards my high school moving on into my undergrad or adult readers.

[00:15:17.000]
I have a summary here listed below and then on the right hand side I have the ability to do a couple things.

[00:15:24.000]
I can filter down my results. And this is really helpful when you have 73 results or maybe if I've done a basic search I'm pulling back a couple 100 because my basic search will search through all of my titles that I have available, not just one particular collection.

[00:15:40.000]
So keep that in mind that a basic search is going to search through that entire collection of ebooks at one time.

[00:15:47.000]
And And then what I did was I did a search through just one collection. So it's pulling back those 73 results.

[00:15:54.000]
On the right hand side, I have the ability to filter by publication date. By document type. Publication title.

[00:16:04.000]
And I can, you can see here I can multi select or do a search. I also have publication languages if I happen to have any publications or any ebooks that have been purchased in other languages, I would see those here.

[00:16:21.000]
Subjects? Here are those content levels. This helps you see, remember level 3, generally middle school.

[00:16:30.000]
I can filter down by content levels.

[00:16:33.000]
And then that ability to search within for a certain term. So let's say I want to search within for wind energy.

[00:16:46.000]
And submit. And now it filters those 70. I think it was 75 or 73 results down to 17.

[00:16:55.000]
At this time, if I wanted to share this information, I filtered down this content and I want to share this information, then I can use the get link tool.

[00:17:04.000]
Get link provides a persistent URL back to any spot within this resource, even filtered content.

[00:17:05.000]
So I could be on a, I could have started. When I was on that table of contents and I clicked into that e-book, I could have used the link directly to that e-book title and share that with my users.

[00:17:24.000]
Here in this, the way that I used it, not only am I taking my results, but I filtered them down.

[00:17:30.000]
And now I can share and that get link tools in my contextual toolbar up here. I can filter that content down and share this information.

[00:17:36.000]
Or if I click into Wind energy At the document level. I can also use the get link tool.

[00:17:52.000]
So all options are available to share that content and everything I just shared with you using Get Link, you can use Google Classroom the same way.

[00:18:01.000]
So I can share. An individual ebook, filter down content, I can share an individual document, same thing I use both the same way.

[00:18:12.000]
So if I want to pull that into Google Classroom, I can it makes it really simple. All those features are available there.

[00:18:19.000]
If you would like me to share this more towards, and I don't know if we have K 12 folks on the line today, I'd happy to go through that with you today.

[00:18:24.000]
But I will jump over it for now. And keep working through. All of this great content that we're covering today.

[00:18:33.000]
When you do select a title. Or a document on the right hand side, we have this explore panel.

[00:18:41.000]
The explore panel provides you with supplemental information. So you have more like this. And it'll give you additional articles related to the one that you're on.

[00:18:50.000]
At the top of the document, you can see all of the publication information. And then as I scroll down, this article happens to have a table of contents and then also related subjects.

[00:19:01.000]
So this explore panel can be really helpful to our readers at all levels, researchers at all levels, students that are looking for supplemental information a lot of times teachers will ask for 3 documents and if they found one that works for their project or paper or whatever they're working on, then using the more like this panel can be really helpful for them.

[00:19:24.000]
And then our patrons coming into our public libraries, always a helpful tool because it's identifying additional information.

[00:19:31.000]
So. When we are at the document level. We have 2 views. I happen to be in the text view where I have all of my tools to support accessibility here.

[00:19:42.000]
So I have the ability to translate the text into again over 50 different languages. I have the ability to decrease or increase.

[00:19:56.000]
That text size and this will stick with me throughout my session. I have the ability to change the display options so I can change the color behind the text.

[00:20:06.000]
I can change the font including open dyslexic. I can increase the line letter and word spacing.

[00:20:15.000]
And this also sticks with me throughout the session. So once I set it up on one document, it'll be with me as I work through all of the reefs or all of the content throughout my session today.

[00:20:26.000]
As soon as I leave it will clear or I can open that box back up. Go back to my default settings.

[00:20:34.000]
And then it'll clear it off. And then I also have the Listen feature, which reads the text aloud to me.

[00:20:40.000]
Let me show you a hidden gem in here, in case you're not familiar with it. So let me see if I make sure I don't have it turned on.

[00:20:47.000]
Okay. Oops, I didn't mean to do that.

[00:20:51.000]
Okay, let me close this back up, sorry. Alright, so I'm going to share that with you now.

[00:20:56.000]
Let me click the play button. And make sure you can hear this.

[00:21:05.000]
Energy introduction. Send energy. So you can see that the sentences being highlighted and the word is being highlighted, 2 different colors.

[00:21:16.000]
When I open this little gear, the settings gear here. So I have to click the listen button first before I have access to the settings gear.

[00:21:25.000]
This is where I can change the word color, what's being highlighted. I can turn on the enhanced text visibility and that's what I want to share with you.

[00:21:35.000]
I'm going to turn that on. It's defaulted to off. Once you turn it on though, this is another feature that will stick with you.

[00:21:43.000]
Throughout your session. So keep that in mind. And then you can slow down the speed, which it slows it down a lot, very, very slow.

[00:21:52.000]
So be prepared for that or speed it up. And let me share with you and then you have a few other features automatic scrolling pop-up button that are available.

[00:22:00.000]
Let me show you the enhanced text visibility.

[00:22:05.000]
Brings to another. So you can see it pulls that text out on the page. So a great way to support Another great tool to support accessibility.

[00:22:13.000]
And for those users that need this feature, it is available. And then we, you know, we have the open dyslexic font.

[00:22:22.000]
Again, under display options. But also these blues and greens are similar to overlays that are used in school for.

[00:22:30.000]
Students that have issues with dyslexia or have dyslexia I should say that they're very similar to that.

[00:22:38.000]
So it is a helpful tool in that respect too. So. Again, the ally did was open that.

[00:22:46.000]
Settings, that little gear, and then turned on the enhanced text visibilities right in the center of the page.

[00:22:54.000]
I turn it off now.

[00:22:57.000]
Okay, and then here is where you can download it as an mp 3. Now if I have translated the text.

[00:23:05.000]
And let me do a quick translation. I'm going to choose Spanish. I want to share with you what you see.

[00:23:11.000]
So we do get this complete translation. Question first but you can see it gives you a sample. A lot we do that because a lot of times users don't maybe not necessarily want to translate the entire document or you have students that are looking at different languages.

[00:23:22.000]
So we want to make sure they want to complete it before we actually go through and complete the entire document.

[00:23:28.000]
So that's why that's there. But you can see it does translate. The document as soon as I select complete translation, then all of my tools would come back.

[00:23:42.000]
I'm going to click cancel because I don't need to translate the whole document. But then you can see all of my tools come back and that translation.

[00:23:51.000]
I've selected Spanish when I click the Listen button. It will also read the text to me in Spanish.

[00:23:56.000]
So we are at, again, 50 languages for the text translation for the Lissen feature. We were at.

[00:24:05.000]
We're at 24. I have to double check and see if that has slightly increased because of we've added more languages, but they are the ones that are the most used in that Listen feature.

[00:24:16.000]
So keep that in mind that your users can listen to the text being read to read out loud to them in their native tongue.

[00:24:23.000]
So always a really helpful tool to have available. Alright, I'm gonna go back out to look at a little bit more additional text and content with you and then I will continue to build your knowledge.

[00:24:37.000]
In the content or with the functionality of the resource. So I'm this time, let's go to history.

[00:24:44.000]
And I do want to select this series because it does look a little different as you can see we have some volumes available here.

[00:24:51.000]
When I select one And I'm gonna go into, let's go to government politics. And this is such great primary sources.

[00:25:00.000]
American Errors is a great e-book that you have available. So here's the Gettysburg Address.

[00:25:07.000]
We get a little bit of information about the speaker first, the introduction, and when I scroll all the way to the bottom, I actually have the Gettysburg address, an image.

[00:25:17.000]
And here it is. So. Great primary sources in your history content that you have available. I in the text view, so I have all of my tools to support accessibility.

[00:25:28.000]
I have the ability to quickly send a Google Microsoft email download or print. Those features are also here in my contextual toolbar.

[00:25:36.000]
The reason why we put them in 2 spots is because if I'm down to this point decide, oh yes, I definitely want to save this article.

[00:25:43.000]
I still can do that. I don't have to scroll back up. The functionality makes it really simple.

[00:25:47.000]
To click on that little paper airplane. Select Google Drive or Onedrive or Email.

[00:25:54.000]
And then okay and what happens is this document will be sent to a folder that is titled Gale ebooks and it'll land right into my Google Drive.

[00:26:05.000]
Or if I wanted to download or print that off, I could. The download will be if we have the source, which typically with our ebooks we do, it'll be the PDF version.

[00:26:15.000]
So let me change it to book view so I can share what I mean by that. So you have book view here at the top.

[00:26:23.000]
And here is the PDF version. Of this ebook. And so if you select download this is what would be downloaded.

[00:26:32.000]
Not the text version. So you'd get this PDF. And then you have all the functionalities here.

[00:26:37.000]
I can make this double page. Whole screen, I can zoom in. And click and drag. Or zoom out.

[00:26:47.000]
If I wanted to. Oh. 2 zoomed out. If I wanted to.

[00:26:54.000]
To change the page, I can just clap or swipe. Because remember we're mobile responsive, so work on iPads, any readers, and then I can it'll automatically turn to the next page.

[00:27:06.000]
And then to remove that whole screen. Just simply click in the upper right hand corner. Functionality is pretty straightforward there.

[00:27:15.000]
Okay, so we talked about content. We talked about text view versus book view, all of the tools to support.

[00:27:16.000]
Accessibility you have your citation tools or citations automatically attached to the bottom of every document. But you also have the citation tool here.

[00:27:26.000]
Where I can choose my format, choose where I'd like to export it to or simply copy and paste.

[00:27:38.000]
This functionality also lives at the bottom of the documents. So if I needed this, if I'm sending this document to Google Drive and I want to change it to APA before I send it, I would want to scroll to the bottom.

[00:27:46.000]
I don't know how many pages this says. Scroll to the bottom, there we go, and change that format.

[00:27:58.000]
And then. Send it to Google Microsoft email, download or print. Or just simply export it. So both are available.

[00:28:08.000]
There at the top or the bottom of the page you have it in the toolbar all the time.

[00:28:14.000]
Okay, let me go back to our homepage because I want to share with you and I really didn't have to go all the way back to the homepage.

[00:28:22.000]
All I needed to do was click on advanced search. You have advanced search technology here, great pre limiters that are available.

[00:28:30.000]
We have some search tips talking about quotation marks and some of our operators in one and why you would want to use these with examples always really helpful for your users.

[00:28:34.000]
That are doing some searching and aren't necessarily familiar with special characters. Or operators. You can see some other research limiters that I can select before.

[00:28:46.000]
I do my search. So fairly intuitive information. What I want to share with you is the functionality of topic finder.

[00:28:59.000]
Now topic finder again, visual representation of your search results. And all I did was I went into advanced search and I clicked on topic finder on the on the right hand side and I can do a search on let's do the civil war.

[00:29:20.000]
And what happens is these tiles are pulled back. And now remember, just like basic search, topic finders going to look through.

[00:29:25.000]
My entire collection. Not just so all of my ebooks at once, not just one of the sub-collections like history.

[00:29:36.000]
So it's looking through everything at once. It pulls back these tiles. I have 2 different visualizations available.

[00:29:43.000]
So I have the tiles. Or the wheel. Tiles are here. As I move my cursor around, you can see it's highlighting those tiles, the ones with 3 dots just I couldn't we couldn't fit autobiography into that tiny little tile.

[00:29:54.000]
But the larger the tile, the deeper the color, the more information we have. So if I click on United States, you can see it zooms in and maybe I want to look at the union.

[00:30:08.000]
And on the right hand side, I have 3 different documents available from my e-book collection. Or I'm interested in the Reconstruction, American Reconstruction.

[00:30:19.000]
Again, 5 documents on the right hand side I can go to. Including a great primary source, so Captain My Captain, by Walt Whitman and that that's a great read too.

[00:30:29.000]
I was actually in there before session today taking a look. So you have that kind of. Content available.

[00:30:32.000]
You have that search option available. I showed you how to browse. The through your collections, but this is a way to use one of our search features, which is called Topic Finder.

[00:30:47.000]
And I do really like it because it's looking at those top results and this is to a great one for your users.

[00:30:50.000]
That maybe there's a term they hadn't necessarily thought about when they were doing their research or doing some exploration for a project that.

[00:31:03.000]
Topic Finder really helps with. So just another way I really like to use this tool. All right, we are right at the end of our session.

[00:31:08.000]
Please let me know if there are any questions. I want to share with you where you can go for additional.

[00:31:15.000]
So, those mark records I mentioned because you may want to add those mark records into your catalog.

[00:31:26.000]
That's here. You can go to support. Calm forward slash Idaho and I'm going to put this in the chat box.

[00:31:30.000]
But for anyone that is watching the recording, I want to make sure that you have that available here too.

[00:31:43.000]
And let me copy and paste that link. I'm just going to post it in the chat for you all.

[00:31:47.000]
This is a really good spot to bookmark. Because you can find your library. And then all of the information you need for your products like the direct URLs are there on this site like the direct URLs are there on this site.

[00:32:01.000]
You'll have e-books with all of the titles. Training materials, marketing materials, and any tech documents, technical documents you may need.

[00:32:09.000]
What I'm showing here on the page, here's that to customize your library. Your Gale ebook collection.

[00:32:16.000]
There's it's a one-page document step by step really quite simple you just the hardest thing is probably getting those admin credentials if you don't have them but I'm really quite simple to follow.

[00:32:26.000]
And we have great tutorials. And little short 15 min to mastery sessions on all of this in the training.

[00:32:28.000]
You can see here's a short tutorial on how to browse. You can see here's a short tutorial on how to browse ebook titles.

[00:32:44.000]
We have ready to go documents such as this book study available and then great marketing material if you want to promote these resources that you have from LiLI to your community or your library community.

[00:32:47.000]
You can do that using our marketing materials. We also have bookmarks and digital assets. We have great blog templates and email templates and social media posts all available.

[00:33:03.000]
So, be sure to check out all of those training materials that we have on the support site.

[00:33:11.000]
And then any questions that you have, you can follow up with me directly. You'll receive 2 emails from me.

[00:33:17.000]
One is a follow-up email and the one will have your certificate. So both will have my contact information on them and again my name is Tammi Burke.

[00:33:26.000]
I'm your senior training consultant. You have one on one support with your Gale customer success managers and those are the folks that if you need help walking through the guilt support site or you are having issues with, you know, access or you want to talk to them about your learning management system.

[00:33:43.000]
You can do that. So all of their contact information is here and it will also be in your follow-up email.

[00:33:50.000]
And then if the training session you should have a survey that pops up if you could select that there's a little icon I think it says complete.

[00:33:58.000]
If you could select that and answer those questions that would really help all of us out and we do share that information.

[00:34:02.000]
If you add any great comments to that you'd like to add some comments, we like to share that internally or with our product team, but also with our folks at LiLI, you'd like to add some comments.

[00:34:15.000]
We like to share that internally or with our product team, but also with our folks at LiLI. And if there's any type of training you're looking for down the road, please let us know.

[00:34:19.000]
We'd love to hear that information. Or if you'd like to use your phone, you can scan the QR code and give us your feedback.

[00:34:26.000]
