An Introduction to Python Notebooks in Gale Digital Scholar Lab
The new Python Notebook section of Gale Digital Scholar Lab helps students and researchers take their projects in a new direction. Three Python Notebooks expand on Named Entity Recognition and Sentiment Analysis, and into Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Each Python Notebook can be used with a pre-made Dataset or with the researcher’s own collected text data. In this webinar Sarah Ketchley, Senior Digital Humanities Specialist, shows the Notebook environment and demonstrates how using the Notebooks can be adapted for work at any level.
