Hear from your peers! This session will be presented by Heather Gray, School Library Media Specialist and Danielle Lowe, Media Specialist, Queen Anne’s County Public Schools. Following extended school closures, the learning gap between students and reading frustration levels have increased, while motivation has decreased. Participants in this session will explore National Geographic Kids and Gale In Context: Elementary in order to determine ways to meet a variety of student needs and increase student choice in the Kindergarten to Fifth grade classroom to combat these negative trends. We will explore readability levels and leveled document functionality to better support differentiated learning and combat learning loss.
